Demo/Shred build

So I'm not even sure if this will work out all that well... mostly I'm just trying to make a claws build that works for me and I remembered that Demolition and Shred are kind of self related. I'm definitely tight on powers, which to me makes me feel this is either an unworkable build or just a damned narrow path. Any chance of this working out or am I just wasting my time?

I'm confused by the title, since the build lacks Shred and/or Demolish as powers (unless you mean the debuffs Shredded and Demolish, but then there's not much reason to have both in one build). If you just want an FC build, then those can be quite compact (just use VFangs and DC, and maybe throw a wider AoE from a diff source in there). As an example:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.34:32

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Predator (Str: 10, Dex: 10, Con: 8, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
    Level 9: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Martial Focus (Str: 5, Dex: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Hawk's Talons
    Level 1: Viper's Fangs (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Steadfast
    Level 8: Unstoppable (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Form of the Tempest
Level 14: Inexorable Tides (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Dragon's Claws (Rank 2, Dragon Rush)
    Level 23: Smoke Bomb Lunge
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Antagonize (Rank 2)
    Level 32: Imbue
    Level 35: Fiery Embrace
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 25/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (1/3)
    Strength: Overpower (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Slaughter (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

VFangs can cleave when up close and apply/refresh Shredded, while Inex Tides gives you a wider pbAoE to work with. Charged DC can be your main single-target attack, while you keep Shredded up w/ VFangs. The last few powers can be w/e ya want. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con.

I completely forgot about the Beast Shred and the Might Demolish... basically as you surmised it was based on the idea of a double debuff.

    Thanks for your time Flowcyto.
