Double Buys from Event Vendors

Hi guys!
I'm not quite sure how I keep doing this but I've twice now managed to double buy items from event vendors I already have unlocked. CS has been very understanding both times but talking to people I know I'm not the only one this happens to.
Could we have it so the item opens automaticly then grey out like they do for costumes, or items in the gold vendor [etc, etc] when they are purchased? The emotes and transforms are character bound when you buy them, but you can just keep purchasing. It's a little weird.
Can this be fixed somehow?
