Hello everyone! today me and my friends and guildies decided to play Champions Online again because we always had fun in the game.
But in order to play our main characters we need Gold Membership, i don't know how to unlock all my characters, nor my friends can't find it, we always stumble on a Lifetime Subscription but be honest, i am not going to pay that to play a month or two again, how do we unlock our Gold Characters ? we had items and costumes etc.... we want to check out again, i have already spend to much money on the game for the outfits/costumes powers/traveling powers etc.... please tell me there is a other way to unlock our main characters and alts without getting the ridiculous Lifetime Subscription if not, i am afraid we will just go back to our other games, but it seems that the Lifetime Subscription is the only way bummer.

You have two options:
1. Buy LTS.
2. Buy a Freeform Slot and use it to turn one of your character's slot into a Freeform Slot. This will permanently unlock that character for use.
My suggestion is to use an open slot, create an Archetype, and take a look around to see if there's anything that interests you enough to use either of those options. Depending on how long you've been gone there's been quite a few changes to the game, and you'll want to inform yourself of them before deciding.
