Druid Hunter Build

Hey there!

So with no nature like abilities in the infernal branch, I thought of possibly doing a druid ranger build that specs in healing. Content I would like to use this for is cosmic and high end content. I created this build and wanted some input.

For any build, a key part of the build is selecting a form and the stats to match. Since compassion scales with presence or recovery, picking one of those as your superstat is probably your best bet. Presence in particular increases your healing in addition to the healing superstat bonus you get from being in support role. This means that superstatting Presence, either primary or secondary, is probably the best way to make a healer/dps build.

There is a Healer Builds Thread that has several builds that can both heal and deal respectable dps. One key feature that they generally have powers that have double duty, doing two of debuffing enemies, buffing teammates, healing, or dealing damage. A couple Archery powers that could sorta do that are Sonic Arrow, Taser Arrow, and Gas Arrow. THat's due to Sentinel Mastery allowing those powers to heal people who attack enemies that you stun or paralyze, which these powers do. Here is a build I came up with,

Druid Hunter Build Version 2 Support
    v3.11:30

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Presence (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
    Level 15: Ego (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: Divinity (Con: 12, Pre: 12)
Level 6: Shrug It Off (Con: 5, Pre: 5)
    Level 9: Finesse (Dex: 5, Pre: 5)
    Level 12: Showmanship (Ego: 5, Pre: 5)
    Level 15: Diplomatic (Int: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 18: Lasting Impression (Pre: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 21: Prodigy (Pre: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Strafe
Level 1: Straight Shot (Rank 2, Split the Arrow)
Level 6: Sonic Arrow (Rank 2, Deadly Dissonance)
Level 8: Snap Shot (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Compassion
    Level 14: Iniquity (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Aura of Primal Majesty (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 20: Redemption (Salvation)
    Level 23: Conviction (Reverence)
    Level 26: Masterful Dodge
    Level 29: Retaliation (Rank 2)
Level 32: Gas Arrow (Rank 2, Noxious Fumes)
Level 35: Targeting Computer (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 38: Hunter's Instinct
    Adv. Points: 36/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6: Athletics (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Tunneling

    Specializations
    Presence: Repurpose (3/3)
    Presence: Dominion (2/2)
    Presence: Moment of Glory (3/3)
    Presence: Force of Will (2/2)
    Sentinel: Torment (2/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Wither (2/2)
    Overseer: Administer (3/3)
    Overseer: Ruthless (2/2)
    Overseer: Overseer Aura (3/3)
    Overseer: Honor (2/2)
    Mastery: Sentinel Mastery (1/1)

    Devices

For groups of mobs, Shoot a charged Stun Arrow, then Gas Arrow, Then tap spam stun arrow until everything dies. Use Straight Shot and Snap Shot on the survivors. FOr Bosses, Use Straight Shot, then Snap Shot, refreshing the Split the Arrow debuff when necessary.

As a healing rotation, either charge Sonic Arrow on the boss, or shoot Gas Arrow on trash mobs, then Iniquity on the lowest HP targets. Not alot of AOE healing, but it should suffice. Gear for straight Presence to support, possibly have a second gear setup with some EGO/DEX for when you need more DPS.

Note that this build has 2 passives. This allows more flexibility in dealing damage in damage role, but does take up more advantage points that could go towards an AOE heal. THe decision is up to you.
