Dear devs lets talk about "specialist AT" :)

its possible to add a choice about what form i want to use in my specialist instead of force me to use "form of the tempest", i was wondering why not make him like grimoire that he can choose between concentration or compassion form. I pref to play him range style but the form that im only able to pick dont help me too much in my current build forcing me to pick melee if i want a decent damage, its possible to add Sharpshooter form as an option for those that want to play him range?

Specialist recently got a revamp, so it's unlikely they'll be changing it again. I'm sure someone asked during the revamp for exactly what you're asking for too.

PS - we have a suggestions section and the devs read that section more than they do this one. Powers Discussion is more for players to talk to each other.

Pretty sure there's another AT now that's based around 2gun? Idk, I don't use ATs, but I think that one would probably fit you better for what you're looking for.

Yes the other option is the Gunslinger AT, which pretty much is a better version of the Specialist with only dual pistols.

You have a bad track record with predicting which things are going in the trash u3u

Still I have really strong feelings about this AT, after the Munition revamp the Specialist went from being one of my Favorite ATs to be my most Hated
The removal of the Bullet Beatdown was one of the prime reasons but the builds is a freaking mess

With TGM it's a washdown Gunslighter and Dragon's Wrath it's a washed down Unleashed, force you to use a melee toggle even if you chose the range-route, the energy unlock force you to utilize bleeds and many more

Giving the a melee combo power into a range DPS... pfff gimmie a break pig-19.gif

So yeah, this Archetype is dead to me

Didn't they hold off on removing the diminishing returns from specialist because it was so obviously terrible?

On the main forum screen this topic looks like "Dear devs lets talk about" and it makes me think funny things about what word comes next each time o3o

Also no. But the AT might get fungled with again when the dual blades changes come. Which when you think about it... they might have wanted to hold off until then u3u gonna be weird for Specialist users to have to adjust again so soon.
