Alert Based DPS Leveling Build?

Anyone know a good formula for a DPS leveling build that can handle alerts well?

That could be any powerset (or combos of such) w/ a decent AoE, R3 Invuln in Hybrid role, Ward/Guardicator specs for a mix of dps and defense, Con SS, 1-2 ADs, 1-2 self heals, an AO and/or ult for burst, and a decent single-target attack for bosses. Maybe also a CC power or two.

After the revamps, most powersets could accomplish something like that. Soo.. are there any pwoersets, themes, attacks, etc. in particular you'd like to use?

Ah, I see. Well to narrow things down, is there a certain melee power-set that excels with AoE damage even at the early levels?

Its not so much excelling at AoE dmg, but Dual Blades is good just cause EotS can be used for its dmg shield and/or for dps- just channel it fully if you want to use it more defensively, and re-cast it early after a few secs if you want it for dps. DB also ofc has good single-target burst dps w/ DW + Shredded, and pretty easy energy management w/ Rush.

TK Blades is also good for the self-healing and shielding advs on the combo and on EB Frenzy, though taking Siphoning Strikes on the combo lowers its dps a good bit (which you have to make up for in other attacks like EBA). Heavy Weapons is also decent AoE + CC w/ stuff like Brimstone, Arc, and/or Cleave. Even Single Blade and Laser Sword can now AoE and also CC pretty well w/ Scything Blade and Lightwave Slash, respectively. Revamped Unarmed can also be good AoE w/ some CC options; prob my fave from Unarmed now is the charged BCF w/ RF adv to vacuum in enemies w/ charged Dragon Kick follow-ups thing, but there's others.

Infernal still has DE + Epidemic or Venom Breath w/ stun adv- though the latter two are ranged AoEs. Infernal and Bestial can be relatively easy-to-use due to the Supernatural Power EU. DE + FotT means you can also self-heal and single-target dps pretty well.

So.. I dunno. Still many options? rofl .. Maybe just randomly pick one you haven't tried yet?
