Inspired by the game "Hello, Neighbour", I am building a character similar to the Neighbour, with various trap and gadget gimmicks, who can easily get rid of his opposition (high DPS). Any ideas on a suitable build?
Specializations Intelligence: Enlightened(3/3) Intelligence: Tactician(2/2) Intelligence: Detect Vulnerability(3/3) Intelligence: Expertise(2/2) Guardian: Fortified Gear(3/3) Guardian: Ruthless(2/2) Guardian: Find the Mark(2/3) Guardian: The Best Defense(3/3) Vindicator: Aggressive Stance(2/2) Vindicator: Merciless(3/3) Vindicator: Focused Strikes(3/3) Vindicator: Mass Destruction(2/3) Mastery: Intelligence Mastery(1/1)
Most of its burst dps is form AoE w/ Stealth + charged Ricochet Throw. Plasma Burn from Orbital Cannon can be consumed by Particle Smash to get Disintegrate's debuff for PBR. EGO/Int/Con (with 3/3 in 6th Sense and an Int focus, or 3/3 in Follow Through and an Ego focus) can also work for the SS setup. Gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and Dex.
Is Orbital Canon putting out decent damage now? Seems like last time I tried it I was seeing a tiny amount. I'm wondering how useful Anvil of Dawn is for a final build? It feels like end game bosses are pretty immobile (not counting Alerts here) and that R3 would be more useful there.
Assuming a 3-sec total cast time (not arming time, since you can attack during that), and ofc that the upfront dmg lands, Orbital Cannon is relatively okay for dps (w/o stats/gear at lvl 40 and R1: ~250dps for basic blasts, 341 for Orbital Cannon w/o PBurn, 326 for un-boosted TGM). With those same parameters, Anvil of Dawn hits upto 8-9 times for about 285 dmg per tick. To contrast that, upping the initial ~1025 dmg hit at R1 by 20% adds about 205 dmg to it.
So, Anvil of Dawn can do considerably more total dmg than boosting the initial hit by one rank (plus it gives you some recourse if the initial hit whiffs). Skipping Anvil for a normal rank could be better if you just wanted to boost its AoE alpha strike potential, I suppose.
