Magic/Healer build help

I had a full magic guy using sigils, skarn's that I leveled up the old way back in 2010 or so who kind of lost his concept because sigils dunna work in cosmics very well. I also tried pet master -- same problem. So he sat for a long time.

With the infernal updates I saw a couple powers that gave me this idea. This is likely not a leveling build and powers are likely not in order.

PSS: EGO (for the cost discount)

EGO: Force of Will 2, Insight 3, Follow Through 2, 6th sense 3
VIND: Agg. Stance 2, Merciless 3, Focused str 3, Mod Gear 2

Thought about switching out one for Sentinel for the healing but like the extra damage and defense wardicator gives. May yet do that.

Support role

The idea is to tap Pillar and Will O' and then either maintain Life E or Soul Beam, depending on what is going on. Click Conviction between monkey strikes and appearance of lava and right after Dino spikes. I got his dps to "not pathetic" in the PH but there is no real way to test the build without being in a cosmic run so I did two of those. Dino was pretty good for a first try, Monkey not so much since I stayed behind the melee lava and lost out on some AoE heals. Will have to be right in the melee pit to work that.

He is only in Merc gear / Armadillo and seems to be doing fine as-is but I am guessing one of you gurus will see ~8 things I could tweak.

Questions: Swap out for Sentinel?

Focused Strikes for Mass Destruction? - like what FS does for Soul Beam but all other powers are AoE - so I guess my question is can PoP crit? Wo'W? Life E?

Circle - with the amount of healing coming in I didn't notice a problem or even going below half hp (lack of block toggle notwithstanding) so I am hoping the damage buff also affects incoming healing totals (when they are a % of the damage like Life E) - anyone know?

Also MSA seemed to be good given I have several short duration recharges. Is there a better option? I am using curses and enchantments pretty much all the time too.

Who can help me tweak this so I don't annoy people by doing it the expensive way? (by doing a cosmic poorly, retcon, repeat)

Circle of Ebon Wrath's dmg is in the earliest/passive layer, so I wouldn't generally bother w/ it. The other circle's can be good for various things, but I'd generally skip on CoEW. Also don't need to rank up Masterful Dodge.

Gave you a spam-able AoE attack and a spam-able normal heal (in case its not safe or convenient to use Life Essence). Also have a self res and an ally res. Conjuring could potentially work as the EU instead- it and MSA both scale from Int, though here ur main stats are still Pres, w/ some Con for Ego Surge w/ NM and for the extra maxHP.
