Fresh Level 40 And Endgame Content

So I've been playing for a while. Mainly leveling alts. Got a bunch of level 40s now. I have blue/purple gear slotted with rank 4-6 mods. All of my level 40 characters have as decent of a set of gear as I could find on the exchange for each of them. But they're effectively fresh level 40s.

I'm a little overwhelmed whenever I approach any endgame content. All of it just seems very tough. Rampages, Telio Tower, the new warzone... is there some ladder from the 'fresh level 40' status to being able to take on such endgame content that I'm just not seeing? Or do I have to join a competent super group that I have to run with to get anything good? Or maybe I'm just building my characters all wrong.

I've searched for tips on this subject, but strangely, I've found nothing.​​

You should do the endgame lairs. They are designed to be challenging for pre-alert groups of level 40s. With current gear and powers, they can be done by pairs or groups of three easily enough.

These lairs are Therakiel's Temple (you need multiple toons for the mirror/light beam mechanics), Andrith (Vikorin is the boss), and Mandragalore (Bronze King is the boss). Advertise in zone for partners, and you should find some folks after a bit, particularly if there isn't brand new content or a new event running.

Well, the first requirement is to not be intimidated; it's fairly likely your characters are capable of doing the content as they are now. The thing to realize is that all of the endgame content is designed as team content. Rampages require a queue of at least 8. TA is impossible with fewer than 3, and I'm not aware of anyone actually doing it without a full team, though I've seen all the individual fights done with 4. Cosmics are generally impractical with fewer than 20. Even the legacy lairs are designed for 5-man teams, though they are commonly soloed nowadays. A good start might be joining the "Cosmic HQ" channel, as that will let you know when people are trying for a Cosmic, and occasionally sees requests for teams on other types of content.

This. If you've managed to survive taking out the nightmare chickens in MC or the Megas in the anni event you can fight the other Cosmics too.
