So... about those invading Destroids....

They show as Skull rank enemies but they're not. If they actually scaled to the level of whoever was fighting them they wouldn't stay at 8000+ HP when fighting a level 20 character.

Apparently they permanently set their level when they spawn based on the nearest player hero.

Right, that's the way the Skull mobs have always worked. It's why it was so convenient to look for the ones with no hp, and grey names during the nightmare invasion.​​

A better design would be to auto-sidekick everyone to 40, when attacking/near that monster anyway.

They could presumably be made so they're skull ranked but spawn at a constant (internal) level; the theoretical point of skull ranked is that they can be a decent challenge at any level, but their scaling is off.

Yeah it's hard to be sure, but hey seem to mostly spawn at 20, 30 or 40, but not always.
