Making an Unarmed fighter and healer

I feel even by my standards that this sort of build is going to be very unusual. I want to break out of my comfort zone of ranged and CON SS (if possible). There are some specs and such that supports healing while dealing melee damage. She's a magical robot that is focused on offense and healing. Between the three main roles, I enjoy DPS, Support, and Tank in that order. Her attacks are from the unarmed Martial Arts tree since I have yet to make a toon with straight up punching and kicking. I'm running her in Hybrid role since I haven't used that very often along with being able to use a defense passive.

I feel I could be really messing up on the spec trees. I will probably have to gear quite a bit for CON since it isn't one of my SS right now. I rather avoid Ego Surge since I'm so used to it by now that I want to try the other AOs, although there are probably balance issues. I also want to try a different heal and not the usual Celestial Conduit and Illumination combo. Is Psionic Healing a good choice if Vala's Light isn't so great? I like maintain heals so I don't end up charging a heal too long and an ally dies before I actually heal. I hope I'm not backing myself into a corner with some of my goals for this build. I hope the good crit chance also means crit heals. I also hope the good dodge chance makes up for lower defense and HP.

I think there is great synergy between my attacks. They mostly grant better dodge to make up for a lack of CON. FotT w/ Gifts of the Storm is something I really want to try due to cross play style focus.​​

    Med Nanites can fuel Compassion, and gives you and teammates some nice passive healing and dmgRes. Rising Knee procs MSA and debuffs crushing dmg for 2x DU followups. Dps won't be great here, but it should still be serviceable in Hybrid role. Gave ya Arcane it since ya wanted a maintain heal.

    The hps won't be very high here, but Protection Field can spot allies if they're in trouble (can also shield urself before a res). Rebirth can work instead of CoRG for a self-res, though CoRG also can proc MSA and has an AoE heal component when re-used. An Active offense isn't strictly necessary for pve, and that could be a block enhancer instead. Gears mostly for Pres, out of the 3 SS's.
