    next up, Famine...this one will likely require a lot of work, because i kinda threw it haphazardly together trying to get a magical debuffer - which was way harder than i expected

    War looks fine, though it needs most of its advs filled out. Not much use for Scything Blade now that Reaper's Caress has better AoE, imo.

    For Famine, I'd recommend getting an easy stun to take adv of Sorc's Whim, as holds are slow and easy to break. I'd also prob get Manip if building for a CC focus. Else, ya can ditch Sorc's Whim and just focus on holds for debuffs. Up to you, but the focus can change the build pretty drastically. If the build is meant to be a ranged one then I'd prob get Lifedrain over DE.

    Pestilence looks mostly fine, though ya have some redundant AoE in there, and prob dun need that many diff attacks.

    Death looks alright for a Darkness build, though ERuin functions a bit differently now (I think ParaPara only gives Fear now, and if so then its prob not worth taking over a normal rank).

    well, i had to pick something...if i remove scything blade, i'll have another empty power slot; and the advantages weren't filled in because i wasn't sure which ones were worth taking over straight-up ranking

    the idea i had for famine was simply a debuffer - the only way to represent general weakness and such from severe starvation ingame; ideally, that would be represented by powers that reduce enemy damage, damage resists, speed and other such things...unfortunately, as far as i can tell, sorcery has very little if any of the first two

    i probably have too many attacks for pestilence, but there isn't really much else i can slot outside more AO/Ds or palliate for the absolve threatwipe

    i know they changed ebon ruin somehow, but i thought it still had the paranormal damage debuff...was it switched to a different darkness power or removed entirely?​​

    The 10% paranormal debuff was removed entirely, as far as I can tell. Sad, cause I kinda liked that debuff. I suppose Hex at least has a Magic dmg debuff, though so few attacks use that dmg type..

    As far as ranking stuff for War, I guess ya can keep Scything Blade as a charged opener or something:

    also, which stats do aspect of the infernal scale off of? i ought to make sure i picked a good set of superstats for pestilence​​

    so i actually did make decent SS choices, even blindly...good to know

    any idea if there are any vaguely magic-y powers/advantages that confer universal damage resist debuffs or are they all limited to specific damage types or damage groups?​​

    Mostly have type-specific debuffs now. If ya want universal dmg debuffs, most of those would be conferred via specs and CC powers.

    I mean that you need to use CC powers to proc them: Trapped, Wither, and Pres PSS's Vuln all lower target resist.
