The latest patch, in addition to introducing Psi-Hair and Mind Control, also properly cancels Ascension's flight during travel power lockout zones.

This also cancels Ascension's healing and damage bonuses. You still get the immediate health burst, though.

*sigh*

Yes, travel power lockout is a thing the game does, and Ascension needed to conform, but this was an inelegant way of doing it.
I wonder if NttG cancels it now, too.

    Remove the attack bonus, and make it an AD.

    Or just make it neither and active offense or defense, just simply a healing power that also makes you fly a bit

    It's still got its healing bonus and flight, and that's what really matters. It even still has an attack bonus to boot.


    It's always been weird as an active offense, since its role has always been defensive.
    Squishy DPS builds that can solo QWZ w/videos.

    Yes exactly, with MD, Unbreakable, Ascension and Ego Surge (due to crit heals) you effectively have 4 defensive powers.

    Thought they removed the healing component.
    Buffing everything to stupid high levels and nerfing everything to piss poor levels yields the same results, but not the same community reactions.
