Pidgin login issues

Since today pidgin refuses to log in. At least 3 of my friends have reported the same problem, but it seems not everyone is affected.

I would appreciate it if this gets fixed soon.

    One factor may be the issue here in order to use an external chat client with the cryptic chat system you need to be a gold player on at least one of their games meaning either STO or Champions. If you're silver you don't have the right permissions to access it.

    I got the same issue Aiqa. Logged into today (10:00am UK)

    Also Wolf, I don;t think she'll post about this, if she knew she was not Gold...

    One factor that may be the issue here is that the computer you're using pidgin on may not be a computer, but is actually a turkey and swiss on rye. If that is the case you won't be able to run pidgin because, well.. sandwich.

    In all seriousness, myself and several SG mates are having the same issue.

    I've not been able to access the chat from pidgin since yesterday (5th Oct) afternoon EDT.

    Disabling crypticspace makes me less likely to login at all. It makes me more likely to play other games, especially ones that just turned F2P.
