Perhaps it was done because too many people were making too much ad by selling them instead of using them? Bringing my point forward about binding drops as opposed to nerfing them. All in all I think its a poor decision. I cant see zerg trains running around for peridots. If there are, im sure im not going to be in them.

I have tried tiamat around a couple of dozen times and I can say that completing it with a 1.8 - 2k item level would be a real challenge.
