^^ This. I don't know if the PWE overlords are demanding that they make this game more of a grindfest or what, but the time spent vs. reward isn't reasonably balanced in terms of the fishing. That and getting stuck refining all these stupid light pods 4 at a time. I guess I could just stop fishing and I won't get…
I'll weigh in with some feedback regarding the Simril Lightcrafting. This won't be about rewards, but rather the grindfest that is refinining light pods/motes of light. A 2 minute task for a 4:2 conversion is fine, except when you're refining several hundred light pods/motes of light. It's a pain to try and do those tasks…
I've run it 8 times and all I've gotten from it has been coins, dye packs, and the cruel enchantments. I *do* like the enchantments, but color me unimpressed with the drop rates on the other items. I had the exact same luck with the previous Call to Arms as well... no companion... not even any transmutation items. I don't…
Give them some time... neither CO or STO had bases or starbases within the first couple months after going live. I can't say 100%, but I'm pretty sure they have plans for them already. Given the dilithium and money sinks the starbases in STO are, I'd be very surprised if they didn't implement something very similar here.
I personally would like to see a revamp of the fashion item slots. Give us the same fashion slots that we have for gear, and allow us to put armor into the fashion slots. It might take a little bit of a revamp of the fashion sets [separating arm/wrist items from the tops], but it would give us a lot more flexibility on…
Many of these companions and mounts aren't new. A lot of them were available during the closed beta and were removed... now they're adding them back in. They've added new ones to the mix as well, but we haven't even seen all that they took out [the mercenary comes to mind, although a version is available through CD-Action…
I'm not disagreeing with you. But all the people who used the <removed details> had to have known that they were doing something wrong. Common sense should have been enough to realize that <removed details>... was skirting the system. Should the quests have been checked to make sure they weren't shareable? Yes, but that…
Yeah... a bunch of people sharing a quest with a multi-day cooldown and they figured it'd be alright to circumvent the timer. The whole "this quest has a cooldown timer" should have been enough of a clue for people to figure out that what they were doing wasn't what the developers had intended. I have no sympathy for…
The point I was making is that they gave people the option to play a dark elf rather than a drow with the hair and complexion palettes. Maybe they should just make dark elves an option with drow, like sun and moon elves are high elf options in the character creator... but then they'd have to come up with another set of…
You can claim your diamonds through the exchange [3rd icon from the left in your top menu]. The balance will be at the very bottom. Like becky said you can withdraw by any character(s) on the account in whatever amount, but you can't put it back, so be careful about withdrawing it all if that's not what you want to do.
I still have DDO [and LotRO] installed on my comp, but I really don't enjoy playing [either] anymore. Without maintaining a subscription, too many adventure areas and quests are locked. I love the IPs, but their "free-to-play" model is horrible.
It's on par if not better than a lot of the other festivals that other MMOs run... I could cite LotRO for one. While I don't want everything for every character, there are a number of different items that I'd like to get for my different alts. I personally don't have an issue with the rewards. You can earn a fashion set if…
Having a GF main character, I feel the info in the third bullet point of the Combat Advantage/Positioning is off a bit. The striker should be positioning themselves in the combat advantage zone provided by the tank, not vice versa.
