Thanks for the heads-up folks, I hadn't looked in on it for a while. Created my first alt the other day and was considering some packs from zen market to move him along quickly; if the adx price has tanked maybe I should shovel spare AD into some extra zen...
Doesn't have to be all or nothing... Genie's Gift could be partial for some of the more recent stuff. Similar to how Genie's Gift for Sharandar will do some of the campaign currencies but you still have to grind a little in each of the 3 regions to get enough blades / etc. to get power points. But yeah I gave up on SKT and…
Also, I tried to look up exactly what's being referenced when the patch notes talk about "removal of legacy set bonuses", i.e. pre-module-6 set bonuses. I looked through here and here and didn't see a list. Should I just get this from trawling through other wikipedia-style info for NW or is there just a short list to go…
I don't have any ALTs - I only run one character - and I see the camera shake bug also. Was thrown off by it until I went hunting around in options, I think I turned off camera shake on the first day and forgot it was even possible. So it's not just switching characters, it's logging in as any character at all.
In the long run is it cheaper to just go buy the materials for a given rank's experimentation task? Or to use other lower level tasks to generate those materials? I've pushed through about levels 3 - 7 of ranking up alchemy by buying stacks of potions for experimentation on the AH, as well as spending the minor AD to…
I agree with the content concerns, and the advice on getting a guild that helps its players. For myself, between all the Coer-Konig content, the 2 parts of SKT, and the winter festival, they should rebrand as Alwayswinter. All the reviews I've heard of the SKT grind just doesn't sound worth it. I may be more satisfied in…
Yeah I noticed this too. Starting to wonder if I should just refine the purple gear I've been holding onto now and take it on faith that I can get a similar amount next time a x2 ad event is announced.
I'm happy for the people who really wanted or needed this extended (late start, infrequent play, bad RNG luck so far) but meh, for me personally. I'll continue to get more vouchers from the refugee recruitment quest, and pick up the daily gift in case something nifty pops up. But... - I've got my demon sled, so no more…
Am I the only one having much the same things with the little daily fortune cookie thingies as people seem to be having with parcels? Most days that I open the fortune after the dude by the telescope gives me a fortune, the fortune just disappears from my inventory with no noticeable effect - no message, no change in…
Perhaps the difference can be split here in a couple of feature suggestions: 1. An option for someone creating a queue to turn off the charts, same way you can fine-tune what gets auto-picked-up vs. what gets offered to whole party. 2. A playing style preference on your profile, similar to what XBox Live has. If you're set…
I really appreciate that you wrote all this out and put a lot of thought and explanation into it, @oldbaldyone, because I have it as a reference now if I ever want to play it, but much more because this definitely convinces me that the skirmish isn't going to be worth it for me personally. :) I don't mean that…
Ha, no kidding. I died just the other day in eLoL because someone accidentally hit icy terrain just at the midpoint of the boss fight... hard to pick up those little red circles of falling rock, in the pentagon in the center, when Icy Terrain is covering the whole thing. :)
So much for my breakfast-and-Neverwinter routine this morning. :) Still surprises me sometimes that maintenance requires taking down the entire game rather than a few instances or something. I don't pretend to know how the game servers work though of course.
Yet another scenario that makes an argument for needing some sort of 'wardrobe', designed solely to carry around all the costume / novelty items we pick up from events like this. I'd like to think it'd be simple on the back end to identify all the free-appearance-change, event-specific piles of fish, costumes, scarves,…
Thanks for writing this out, this is easier to read than some other guides. What this guide is also confirming for me is that once a character hits L60, it's likely better to just buy enchantments above L5 on the AH. And at L70 I don't see how it makes sense to refine any enchantment ever again. I mean, I haven't looked…
I assume the QM cooldowns are independent of each other? So if I have say 3 utility slots I can set aside for gemming up for gem-hunting, and I can't afford / don't have 3 dragon hoards, I can do 3 quartermasters and they won't get in each others' way, so to speak? I'm currently at a QM8 and 2 Fey8s and considering whether…
I am SO glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm a weirdo who has NO alts. I spend so much time on my main guy as it is, I don't know how others have the time to blast through invokes, a quick Cloak Tower run or three, professions, some minimal levelling, etc. on several other alts AND still be able to run with…
The extra currency is a good note too - I've reduced my ToD/WoD farming down to some simple WoD quests occasionally to bring up enough fangs to be able to create a dragon queen key so I can get in on Tiamat runs that the guild i'm in does from time to time. I haven't had to do anything to get that currency again otherwise.
Thanks @tattica7 and @katamaster81899! Will start researching some calculations for what I'd need to do to go get the AD for the items you mentioned, and start shuffling some things around in my stats... and kata, screenshot will be tricky as 'm on XBox1 but will see what I can do.... also seems I need to read up on…
Come to think of it, it's entirely possible I had the wrong idea on this, and thejawlives was correct. @kreatyve, if I've posted in the wrong place or otherwise made a gaffe here, please do delete or lock my post if you like. I'm still new to this place and all.
Actually, nvm, found the class forums by bumping up a level in here. And hey ignore my other question too, I can tell what your response will be already.
Kinda thought the question mark at the end of the sentence made my intention plain here, but ok. This is the second answer to a question of mine on here that was basically "RTFM, go play". Why bother having a forum if not to actually talk about the game? Sheesh.
I think I'm the only one here who liked the Maze Engine daily grind. The quests themselves each day were no worse than being sent to Neverdeath Graveyard a billion times by Harper whatshername, and it didn't take too long to knock out each daily.
