New vote kick/que system grand fail

This hadn't been a problem on premade good dungeon runs, but i tried a random que today and team kicked out 2 TR and 2 tanks that didn't have armor/weapon enchants and bam, no one can que in our party at last boss and we stuck doing nothing, had to quit. I find it ******ed cause people can still get kicked the same way as always, just gotta wait a bit more :T

...well, the credo is that even the thickest serial kickers will eventually understand this system and think thoroughly before rejecting a non-90%-of-BiS player, knowing that there's only a limited number of attempts.

Heck, it might even work! :^D

No more vote kick, before the group has at least tried a boss.
And no more vote kick, when the group has succeeded against a boss.

If you want the perfect group, build it up in PE on your own.

Besides, would be great if you can only use the vote kick a limited amount within a certain time frame for the whole account.
That should also cool a few frequent vote kick user or rather abuser down...

If those TR/Tanks without armor/weapon enchantments were not kicked, most likely, the party would still fail to kill the final boss. Some random player queuing into your party with empty enchantment slots is very unlikely to carry the party to victory.

The basic message from Cryptic is that they want to give everyone the chance to play a dungeon even if low gear. Just look at the gear limits, they are in general ridiculously low.

So basically vote kick is not for replacing people because of gear, Cryptic's message is what you get, you stay with. Vote kick is for getting rid of people that go ld or just go inactive.

If you cannot live with getting really undergeared people in your group(with the associated likely fail), don't use the queue but preform in PE.

They need to get rid of itemlvl cheaters, because those will prevent success in PUG groups. In the past, i've sit up to 4-5h on last boss in VT and eLoL trying down it with PUG's which gave me quite a lot of experience when it comes to specific gear and success rate.

Nowadays when i join dungeons via queue first thing which i do is inspect my party party members. If there's at least 1 geared dps i give it a try. However, when i see that my all my party members dps have <7k power, + lack good weapon enchant, wear DH enchants in utility slots, have less than 60k max HP, + some green non artifact items - I just leave, because i know that such group will have problem dealing even with trash mobs.

On top of that common lag is additional reason why slight overgearing is required.

Those TRs/tanks met the minimum item level, which means they deserve to play the dungeon, which means kicking them is being an *******.
You got what you deservred. Want to play with overgeared elitists - form your own group.

1) The only individual who should have the ability to kick in a queue party should be the leader.

2) Kicks should be limited to 1 per 5 minutes (or more).

3) Anyone who just joined an existing group should NOT be able to initiate kicks for at least 10 minutes unless he or she becomes a leader.

4) Kicks to individuals who D/C should not be able to be initiated for at least 4-5 minutes; unless he D/C's 2-3 times in less than 5 minutes.

5) While combat is in progress, kicks should be locked. I don't know how many times I've died because a kick came up and I couldn't get rid of it in time to survive.

There are probably more such limits that could or should be added, but I can't think of them at this time. :)

Also, new characters that meet the entry requirements deserve a chance to learn instances. If you want a guaranteed successful run, get in to a LFG group then queue. One of the reasons I queue a lot is to help new toons through instances.

About the only time I initiate a kick is if someone is being royally obnoxious. This includes individuals who join group and immediately start initiating kicks for various reasons.

Or, more simply:

1. Remove the entire kick system.

Occasionally you will get lumbered with a leecher, idiot or griefer but mostly it would make things better.

I'd like to agree except that leaves you with no way to get rid of someone who d/c's or quits without dropping group.

or abuses lack of kick and just goes afk while you do the dungeon and just joins for boss(and might even afk there)

kick is needed, if you dont like join guild and run with guildies, ppl here making problems out of nothing ....

It's never going to be perfect but the point is to remove a much abused power from the players. If you queue for something as a random then you should not have the power to kick others from the random group you end up with.

then i would never ever join random queue, and never ever pug 1 or 2 missing members if i cant get a full guild party. and most experienced players would do the same - so a bunch of low gear players who would have gotten carried as 5th member by experienced party would only get a bunch of other low gear players to queue with instead

Then give the "vote kick" to the system, with a certain set of rules.
+ disconnect without logging back into the game within x minutes
+ not participating in fighting/healing, or just standing around at the campfire

And yes, if you want the perfect group, then use LFG and build it up in PE.

OK, well. How are those people ever suppose to GET good gear then? Whip out the ol credit card? It's thinking like this that has killed this game almost as much as the poor decisions made on the development side of the game.

People do dungeons to GET The gear, just leaving the fricken group because everyone inst rocking 7k+ power is silly.

There should be ONE and ONLY ONE reason to kick someone from a group.

That reason would be a disconnect and the group cannot carry on with that party space not being productive.

That is THE ONLY REASON. Maybe we need to keep a database of these abusers... and post their names on here.

Just to clear up, I didn't even agree with the vote kick, I could care less if the party is HAMSTER since I usually do most of the dps, had 60m done in that run before I gave up, which is a lot for eLOL. The problem is that people either leave or get kicked sometimes and my issue here is that this new system didn't really make anything better. If someone gets disconnected and we choose to kick, guess what, now no one can join and I'm stuck trying to tank lostmauth being a dps.

I started from 0 in mod6 so i know how to do it. Frst decent gear at lvl70 you get for free from Knox (purple neck and Atrifact off hand), Main Hand Artifact from the Spinwardrise, rest you get from 3man dungeon. In the same time you do 1 daily pvp quest for the seal. After a week you will have enough marks to buy full pvp set which will give you a lot of HP with decent offensive stats on top of that. Then you buy some radiant enchantment, rank7 for around 30k each. You should also buy some artifact belt, they cost around 4-8k most.

That's how you get the minimum for the T1 dungeons. Most of the PUG's which i've meet dont even have the FREE aritfact off hand and neck. Instead they wear some random green items from lvling zones and DH enchants to boost their itemlvl. There's no way im gonna waste few hours to carry players who are so lazy to do even the min amount of work.

Gonna have to agree with suicida here. There are a lot of people who don't bother to read the news, so it'll be awhile before the new system mechanics begin to sink in and the trigger-happy kickers go "doh!"

I, myself, have 2-manned or 3-manned the scorps more times than I have with a full group. I have seen Lostmauth drop with the same... sometimes without a tank.
