Someone is selling a Neverember Guard Archer in the AH already. How is that possible with the 22 hours wait and the character bound Writ of Commendation?
Edit: I just remembered that you can get a Writ of Commendation if you buy the Defenders Pack, so maybe it's not that impossible.

Lol yeah, someone has either been playing for 22 hours straight, or blew a lot of diamonds on defense supplies. Probably a silly combination of both. Hopefully no one is naive enough to buy it.

Probably even more simple than that. The quest timers all reset at 3AM PDT/PST. Anytime after 3AM you can run the event quest a second time, this also makes it possible to earn 8 quest rewards during the event.
Also, the defender's pack is a different currency. You would need to have turned in 84 defense supplies to earn the 7 medals needed.
My theory is people are selling the Writ of Commendation in the market and since you can only get one a day.
So I've done some research. The archer that can be purchased with the writs aren't tradable. Also, yo your point, you can buy writs for 20 trade bars, so it's not that hard to get them. But the archer that can be obtained through purchase and opening of neverwintan pack can be sold. This means that this person got it by heroic medals which can be gotten through heroic encounter rewards.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.
