With this new mod upon us and all the questionable bugs running around.. Does anyone know or have hard numbers to show that Tenacity only works vs players still? I'm asking because I was in a dungeon run with my normal PvP gear on. My survivability seemed to be better than the other CW in the group. I could die sure and did often, but I seemed to last a LOT longer than the other CW in the group. The CW had only PvE oriented gear.

only vs players, unless some random bug is happening.
maybe his gear was just way worse than yours, or he was just worse a player.
As someone that never had a pure PvE set, I've always felt that my PvP sets gave me more survivability than my teammates, at the cost of dealing less damage. Although I might be completely wrong, I haven't paid that much attention as to what was going on.
As the others have mentionned, things like ping or one's ability to time his/her dodges can have a lot of influence on survivability.

I think PVP gear has more defense and PVE gear has more offense. It is just my impression and I can be wrong.

I feel that way about the gear as well; stats clearly show it. From my experience and what I've seen players do is keep about 800 it gives 30-31% pvp defenses; tenacity starts to soft cap.1800 tenacity only brings it up to about 40%.
