  There is no gateway access for Xbox yet. Currently that is a PC only feature.

  The Gateway is not available for the XBOX Live version of the game at this time. There is no ETA on when or even if it will come to the XBOX. If we get any new info on the release of the Gateway for the XBOX Live version, we will make an article about it.

  Given that in the Tymora's Gift Info window in the game it states that you can earn more gifts while playing sword coast on gateway. Perhaps that should have been edited for the XB1 version.
