So been a while since I worked on my Foundry camp' I was making and I noticed a few changes for the BAD.
So friendly encounters, I changed their costume to fit what i'm making, and suddenly they attack each other?? I did nothing to them I took Gaurds mixed (friendly Encounter listed in its Desc) made a Copy to make sure I got the same type, Changed their costume to a mix of wood, Sun and moon elves, And then suddenly they attack each other and not the Drow Enemy encounter?
Then there is the follow script, It seems to be failing to work, they do not follow at all just stand there like lemons.
Map makeing, its ALREADY limmiting with little to no editing at all on them, but now they have even less of a budgit, and the list of things you can add to the map seems to have a hard time understanding what its meant to look for. Lets say I tick the box "Crypt", It cliams there is nothing there, but under box "any" there were loads of "Crypt" things, but after ticking one box it has a hard time loading up items again.
I have read the wiki you guys made and the other "help" write ups but I am finding NOTHING helpful in them its like they are very very very out of date. a REAL tutral might help not just a write up with no info at all in it.
Sorry if is seems like a moan, I've been trying to make my foundry quest for a while and now rather then finding it fun and looking forward to luanching it i'm getting angry and annoyed that things are not doing what i need them to do.
1. Follow -- by default "Follow When" is set to Never -- did you change that property?
2. Budget -- budget has INCREASED from 1500 to 1700 -- what budget are you talking about?
3. "Crypt" -- WHICH "Crypt" did you select -- last I recall there were two different filters BOTH named "Crypt" -- and when selected you didn't have anything in the text fitler?
The Foundry is challenging to work with for sure. But if you ask (more specific) questions here, I think you'll find most other authors are quite helpful.
You might find it helpful to visit DM's Studio; it shows you how to implement some interesting effects (see my sig).

Only bug I know that causes friendly encounters to become hostile is this one.
(Ofc it is possible that they just "introduced" a new one...)
Blackfoxaltoro: have you tried asking questions to the foundry Zone chat while you are working? Granted, it has been pretty quiet there recently but usually other authors are happy to help out, give advice, and troubleshoot.
A small note to Eldarth's advice about the Following command: you need to set it in the Details AND Layout views in the 2D map editor. A lot of people don't know they need to set it on the Layout view.

Actually it should only be the Layout view -- I know you can only set the entire encounter behaviour so I don't think that is even in the Detail view properties for an individual mob.

"So friendly encounters, I changed their costume to fit what i'm making, and suddenly they attack each other?? "
Make Costume First.
Place encounter down on map.
Change EACH monster in encounter individually by appearance to the Costume. (Right click monster, and there is a tab for that in it's menu of options.)
Avoid copy/paste.
" I tried to figure out the enigma that was you, and then I realized mastering Wild Magic was easier." - Old Wizard in Waterdeep
"Why is it dragons only use ketchup? I'd like a little wasabi please. Us silvers like a variety of condiments."
"Don't call them foolish mortals. One, they don't learn from it. Two, It just ticks them off." - An Ancient Red Dragon
In all reality, nothing has happened to the Foundry; and I literally mean, nothing. Aside from the removal of a few "exploitable/farmable" items, nothing has changed in the Foundry, good or bad. It's still the same niche corner of this game that most don't realize even exists.

I'm working heavily with friendly encounters and I didn't have any problem.
