I saw in the patch notes a fix with shaders.. so not sure if this is the same thing.. but I've been dealing with it all week.. and just again today.. logged in.. had to wait for it to render .. then logged out and back in and same thing.
Video Card is a GF980 And I have a ~110-150Mbit connection depending on if comcast likes me.
thanks!

I have tried the Fast patch / on demand patching.. ticking on and off.. downloading 3gig worth of stuff.. but it has been over a week.. what else could this be?
when I hit esc esc esc.. it instantly reverts to normal. my next attempt will be uninstall reinstall.. but not tonight. if I'm the only one this is happening to.. well.. then it's obv the install is b0rked.. just my luck
Yep. I'm getting this shader bs even before mod 6.
And with all settings maxed
That's the solution I've found to be working.
It's just annoying when you have to do that at the start of a boss fight in dungeons etc.
Can you guys share the GFX card you're using ?
Mine's a Ge Force GTX 760.
Maybe if we figure out if it's an NVIDIA specific problem we can work sth out.
As you can see I have used vastly different GPUS and still get it.
Hmmm, you're right.
Then yes. Only logical assumption is the Game Engine indeed.
I've disabled post processing atm and it seems to give me this glitch less frequently.
As far as I can understand it's something with texture filtering.
I see this mostly on stuff that should be transparent and they appear as glowing boxes. (trees, brush, particles etc)
Yeah this is really annoying. Especially when it happens in a dungeon in the middle of a fight> I hit ESC, it doesn't work, I miss my dodge and I'm dead.
P.S.
I have 5 PCs on my home LAN. Every one of them suffers with this problem. Two have ATI cards, the other 3 have Nvidia. The Nvidia cards definitely suffer from this MUCH worse than the ATI.

Anyhow just saying...it would also be my guess as to why we get DX11 errors and crashes...the game engine.
