Another Rogue issue, again, right?

Before I kick the hornets nest, I am a guardian fighter. I know I'm supposed to take hits and get the agro. But I figured out, if you won and didn't get a single kill, you get no glory. It happened to me. So, my complaint is mainly towards the TRs. Yes, it is possible to kill them, and everything else kills me. But my main issue is the rouges. (Another one?)

Let me start by saying, it isn't the fact they kill me, its how they get AWAY from me or dodge and are immune to my hits. For one, yes they hit hard And its a pain when they go invisible, knife me in the back, stunning me. Then throw that smoke dazing screen down then unleash a mean killer slashing combo then end me. But my issue is this. Don't be able to dodge and roll safely away from my attacks. Its annoying. I finally get close enough to use one of my griffons strikes to hopefully stun you and lay some hits. But when you roll, dodge and immune. Even lunging strike, bull charge, and flurry don't bother you when rolling. Even my daily strikes. Everyone else I can at least hit and stun. But the rouge is the most difficult to me. Even when I hit you with a stunning attack you are hindered for half a second then roll away and disappear and then anniliate me. I even recorded a match where a TR just wiped myself and 2 other players face in a match. Hardly anyone was landing a hit and he was attacking us WHILE in cloking mode. But I wasn't upset that I lost. Its the fact I couldn't land a single hit, even timing it. The TR just rolled away, comes back and killed us. Buff or Nerf doestn matter. Just buff the guardian fighter. Make it where we can dodge or land some attacks on fleeing enemies. We are super slow. Can't sprint, can't keep up, nothing.

I am grinding my rear off for glory but either get none (from losing so terribly bad) or winning with no kills. (which I got ticked because I did kill some or assist but never gave it to me) so I play PvP, cussing at my screen as I try and find a team that communicates or just can't even get a single capture zone for hours on end. Trying to get more than 35-75 glory per game. Rarely reaches 175.

I just want the guardian to be noticed. I lose to most enemies, due to being out numbered. But when I'm fighting other enemies. I can either kill them if I have backup or one on one. But the rogue, more than 98% of the time, obliterates me in seconds. And my attacks miss and don't affect him. Come on now. Even when I get hits in they roll away and disappear and I'm left spinning trying to guess where they would come from and just, boom, dead. Oy yoy yoy.. -_-

Unless someone is good or looking for a Guardian fighter, guess I'm stuck sucking, no matter what.

Hmmm, we currently have no GF, you have peaked my interest. Send me a message on xbl.

I'm a 60 GF and do PVP regularly. I'm by no means awesome, but i do fairly well in most matches for a GF. If you went Iron Vangaurd, Threatening Rush is your best friend. It's an at will mini rush that has a range just about what most classes dodge with, so you can keep up and faint them into using up their evasions. You can use Into The Frey for some speed boosts as well, but it uses precious encounter slots. I can beat bad rouges pretty regularly, but anyone that knows what they are doing will either kill me or get away. A big issue i have with TR's is they seem to flat ignore damage from some skills. Supremacy of steel seems to almost never do damage to them but rock the world of most other classes, and furious reaction almost never hits TRs either. I believe it has to do with their high deflection and deflection reduction but can be sure (33% deflection at 75% reduction). Best advise i can give with surviving TR's is just be aware that you shield only reduces damage from the front and that a TR's is going to do their best to get behind you. If you see one go stealth, do your best to keep which direction you back is facing changing and force them to either strike your front or come close enough for you to see them. I would suggest leveling a TR if you have the spots so you get a feel of what they need to do so you can counter it. This will help you against a vast majority of the "I play TR's for easy kills" crowd. Against a good TR, there is not a lot you can do but run with a buddy. Fortunately there are not a lot of good TR's, they are mostly the easy class players. Wont win you any kills, but a GF can troll the match by running Into the Fray and Knights Valor, and hanging around the DPS. Everyone moves faster, hits harder, and takes half damage. Nothing like seeing the TR panic after he did not one shot the CW.

Send me a message on Xbox- you sound like you know what you are doing, have yet to see one that does with the exception of Vader from iron lotus.

You have to score over a certain amount of points to receive your glory. If you don't score over 450 points i believe, you get nothing.
