Ok I Have Checked The Entire Forum Posts & Threads About These Errors & Bugs, And I Even Have Tried Out Everything And I Mean Each & Every Solutions Provided Here In Forums. Since There Was An Update On 2/30, After updating the game and patching it, and playing it for plenty of hours and exiting the game before i go to work and then getting back right on after few hours i have been receiving this error " Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate, trying to update the launcher. Please Be Patient. Tried Connecting 1/2/3/4/5 Times. Unable To Establish Connection to Patch Server. Please check your internet connection. If Problem persists, please contact technical support. ". Now This never happened to me before ever. So i gone through entire forum threads and posts in here. I even browsed the web through google trying to find out solutions and i got quiet few options saying how to solve these starting from downloading a Neverwinter.exe from the pw site, till updating the graphics/gfx card drivers and keep them up to date. I have tried these all believe me i did. First Of All i was not even able to download the .exe file they gave in the link , i had to contact a close friend of mine and ask him if he could , and when he said he could i took the file from him and tried it but in vain. then he recommended me to try reinstalling the game and mind me i was not happy about reinstalling the game coz i live in india and my internet speed for downloading ain't so great but my gameplay ingame is pretty smooth. It took me 2 days to download the game, after its done downloading i opened it and the error was gone , it opened up without that error and did a patch and ran perfectly like how it always did for me, and i was happy and continued playing the games for hours and yes i mean hours. then i had to leave for my work again and exited the game. when i came back from work and switched on the pc and ran the game again, this freaking error popped up right back again out of the blue. this is really a freaking nightmare i have no idea to what should i do about this. please and i really mean please help me out here in finding whats going on and how do i fix this. I am running the game through arc since running it through steam long back had given me quite a bit problems and arc never did. This is the first time am encountering this kinda problem and am not happy about it.
Just In Case You Fail To understand what i meant i will try to upload a picture here, never tried this before, so i apologize upfront if i did it wrong.

I can't remember what it was.. maybe installing the most recent directX? or unchecking something in the arc launcher?
Search for arc launcher, good luck.

Thanks for all the fish.
Have you tried to reset your modem and router? I have had issues in the past where it was the actual IPS modem that was to blame and a complete power removal for a minute or so solved the issue. If you do go that route of testing, I would pull the power plug on any other network equipment between your modem and computer like routers/firewalls/switches etc and leave them unplugged until your modem is actually online again. This forces the other equipment to renew their dynamic settings from the modem and not carry forward any ill gotten settings prior to the modem power reset. Failing that, try rebooting into safe mode with networking and try doing the client update then to see if it gets any further.
For your case tho, I'm not sure these will help. Appears there might be something else at play. Have you tried running Malwarebytes to remove any malware from you computer? There are plenty of malwares out there that don't even register as a problem with some antivirus's. Also, try running MSCONFIG and disable ALL non-microsoft startup items that do not need to run.... eg, nvidia services would need to run to enable performance on you video card but nvidia's game optimizer is not needed.
Have you recently installed any other software package prior to the problem surfacing? If so, they may be in conflict with the game launcher. Hope you find a solution from some of these suggestions.
Finally, if you are on Windows 7, you may want to check your User Account Control Settings. Go to your windows icon, click on it and search for UAC. Click the only option that appears. Slide the bar to 'Never Notify.' Reboot the computer.
I had an issue that was similar, where I had to uninstall and reinstall Neverwinter a few times (over the course of 2 years), but after so many re-installs, the game will not launch. I attempted to edit the registry (regedit), but that did not work. The only solution was to reimage the whole computer.

Find the game installation directory in your computer.
Go to the /Neverwinter_en folder
right click on Neverwinter.exe and select "run as administrator" (it has a small shield next to it)
Alternative You should try running arc's client by right clicking and selecting "run as administrator" too.
Another thing to try is to completely reset your internet connection, just to make sure nothings messed up with your settings:
Start > Run > cmd
>ipconfig /release
>ipconfig /renew
>ipconfig /flushdns
On the firewall, I saw you mention you got no firewall errors... Have you tried completely disabling your firewall?
I should point out I use the Arc client, and have since they released it and have never had any problems with it that weren't my own fault somehow. I agree with magenubbie that if this was a problem with Arc or the game launcher, there's be a huge uproar... So this is mostly likely a local system issue. Note also, that since you are getting to the launcher, this probably not an Arc problem, since that seems to be connecting just fine.
So, aside from a bug in the software... things that I can think of that might be causing this:
You obviously have an internet connection, so that can be ruled out.
Your connection settings might be messed up (renewing you IP should make windows sort that out)
Your proxy settings might be interfering.
I'm assuming you're not using some anonymizer or VPN or anything like that.
If you have a firewall, that could definitely be a problem.
There could be some corruption in your software, if that's the case, you'll need to re-install Neverwinter.
I suppose there's an outside chance that your ISP is blocking the connection for some reason (pretty unlikely).
I suppose there's an outside chance that Cryptic is blocking your connection (very unlikely).
Can you ping the patch server?
Edit: Didn't see lowendus' post. I run Arc as an administrator by default. Can't remember why, but seems like I had problems if I didn't...

9 out of 10 client problems solved that way XD maybe that's why. heheheheh
Well, i did all the mentioned above , i have reinstalled neverwinter twice. definately not my isp blocking. not using any anonymiser or vpn. i do have the normal windows firewall but i tried disabling it completely and then run it but that didn't help too.
Now am very curious about what you said about proxy settings , coz my gf asked around ingame if anybody knows a solution and one random guy said the same thing it might be the proxy settings. May i know how do i check the proxy settings and what should i do ? how do i disable it ? and how to know whats wrong with the proxy ?
Also please do tell me how to ping the patch server?
