greater cloaks

how am i supposed to get one on paladin? they have no linus favors if you want to get them you need to donate but oh surprise you can't donate so you are stuck in a loop. is this some kind of a bad joke from cryptic?

    I need to know this answer as well. My Paladin needs the cloak and I cannot see a way to obtain Linu's Favor at the moment.

    you can buy them with either dragon coins or coffers and turn them in to get linus favors and whala your set.

    You can buy the cloaks from AH. I doubt you have been able to complete Tiamat to gain any Linu's favors, so you're obviously buying or grinding dragon hoard coffers, you can sell those, or use the AD that you were gonna spend buying them, and pay a bit more for the ones on AH.

    P.S. I'm not selling any cloaks on AH, just trying to help u out in getting one.

    Greater cloaks also drop off 10+ man HEs in WoD. You can also buy them off AH.

    You can't exactly buy Linu's Favors, but you can buy the items required to contribute to Tiamat to get these favors. However, you can't contribute anymore once the final tier is unlocked, and it's a problem right now since it's a weekly reset. I'm sure more adjusting to this will come soon, since nobody is making good use of tier 4 being unlocked for Tiamat anyway.

    Cloaks used to drop from major (= blue trail) heroic encounters in well of the dragons. I'm assuming the loot table didn't change that much, however, I have yet to see people forming teams to do these HEs. All they want is the stupid dragons and will gladly wait 15 minutes doing nothing instead of trying the 10+ people HEs.

    You can also get Lostmauth and valindra neclace in their dugeons.

    oh come on guys...don't make your life harder than it is.

    The Auction house is full of Coffers and bags for coins.
    they are cheaper than ever before!

    with your campaign of WoD you can get also more coin,
    and linus quest its Repeatable not a daily,
    So you can so many linux you want without waiting a day lol

    You can buy it also only with Gold, if you wish no AD needed.
    Theres NO more excuses for
    "I don't get my cloak"

    with M6 all become so sensitive.. lol

    Do tell me, how do you see it possible for Paladins,that did not exist ( note : while the rest of us ran tiamat to get linus ) to actually donate enough to get 1 linu.

    If it happens only once per week.

    And if they are lucky to get there in time, before it gets to 100 %?
    Tyranny of the dragon was supposed to be the way of getting the gear in question. Before mod6.

    I thought my english is bad but sorry it's hard to understand what you'r meaning,
    the 100% on tiamat it not permanently of course currently there's only a small phase which you can donate,
    but it's doable.

    I ll try to explain it.

    Yes i am talking about this small window of opportunity to exchange dragon coffers and coins in order to get 1 linu.
    When you need 15 to at least buy 1 artifact cloack or belt.

    I am not even talking about main weapon or off-hand. Or books needed for the boons.

    If you calculate in the amount of other people trying to do the same thing in the same period of time, it doesn't seem to you as something highly improbable?
