My main SW is level 70, and unplayable.

So I leveled my main SW up through the fire zone, at which point I was level 70.
Picked up the main hand via the dragon thing instead of spinward rise.
This is the only toon I have with sizeable boons from previous work in sharandar, dread ring and dragons.

I AM BEING KILLED BY POWRIES and cannot do basic content in the 3rd area of sharandar.

My character is broken, and so if my fun. I know we should have patience, but if I can't play this game and have fun I will find something else to do. I like this game, so please, fix it before I give up on it.

Which paragon path did you went? There are some which are solo friendly. Also what kind of gear do you have? Do pvp dailies for 1 week and you will have enough seals to buy full t1 pvp set that will give you over 70k HP.

I do not pvp. I went soulbinder and tried to be as defensive as possible. I have gear from doing the vigilance quests up through the first 2 zones which I fully completed, as well as a purple dragon ring from spending $$ that is still useable, and a blue leveled up artifact belt from tiamat. I am not in a guild, and I like to solo pretty much exclusively. I have a purple battle medic companion. I do have the main hand artifact which I got via the dragon route rather than Spinward Rise.

There is seriously that level of disconnect between PVE and PVP gear?

Before this mod I had no problem in sharadar, dread ring or well of dragons. Now, I can't do any of that content. (correction: I can do tasks that do not require fighting mobs, and some other quests, if I like spending tons of time and dont mind dying frequently).

lvl70 PvP gear offer a lot of HP and is quite easy to get compared to dungeon gear. Instead of healing companion you might want to get some which can tank. If you really cant stand your current class i suggest rerolling to Paladin. It's really easy and forgiving, but it will take a bit to kill mobs.

You shouldn't need a specific path/build and high end gear JUST to work on boons!

Considering OP is concerned with solo PvE content and not PvP, your videos show nothing.
Broken mechanics, broken class designs, lack of actual content, and over zealous, bronze-age moderation?

    Go Cryptic!

The tank companion thing I will try, it might help- but only if it keeps the mobs off me immediately, otherwise with no backup heals.. BOOM. I appreciate the nod to PVP, but it's broken if you have to engage in pvp content to do pve content.
I am leveling a paladin, but if I cant keep progressing on my main... I suspect I don't have much time left in this game.

Perhaps if we had a 4th encounter like the CW have we might have a fighting chance .They did add a cc and a shield like power to our tree would be nice to have a slot to put one of them in .

I don't even play a SW, but I agree with you. I had a lot of fun leveling my control wizard to 60, but as soon as I hit 60 I had to change the way I play the class in order to not die in two hits from... well everything.

Dying over and over is the least amount of fun you could have in a game. I actually tried leveling a paladin too since I don't like the "keep everything frozen and don't get one-shot" play style. But the truth is, a paladin is not what I want to play. I *liked* my CW pre-60, I just want to keep playing that.

I'm a recently returned player who was just checking the game out and I almost got hooked back in... until I hit 60. I hope they will read our feedback and consider what it is people like about their classes and then not make sudden changes to the difficulty in playing them.

You might have missed grabbing your artifact off-hand tome. Just go to Knox now you're 70. He'll send you to Neverember, in the golden chest the off-hand will be found...

I think his point is why did they take something we have been playing for enjoyment the way we LIKE to play and then make it into something we HAVE to change the way we play just to play the stuff we were enjoying. It's just stupid. It's like enjoying horseback riding and then some one says " hey you can still ride but you have to ride facing backwards now.
I have stopped going to shar and dread and WoD and just go to the new zones because the others just aren't fun any more. I worked really hard to get my char where I could kick *** in those zones and now I have to do a bunch of stuff to get back to where I already was. Just dumb.
And as far as getting to level 70, thats just a waste w/o the good gear which you can't get w/o doing dungeons that are almost impossible now w/o said gear that you get from seals from the dungeon you have to do which you can't do because blah blah blah round and round
L M A O. They really dropped the ball on this one, I hope they fix it but I doubt it.
My plan is to try the dungeons with pugs til i get kicked and maybe pick up a few seals each time til i can buy the gear but it is SOOOOO boring. I really have played a lot less since I hit 70. Mostly doing profs to sell stuff for ADs. i know people will still post the " oh Gee I don't have any problem" posts but the truth is this sucks a lot for a lot of people

That guy has nearly BiS gear (no new mythic artifacts, but still four legendaries) and he's against a bunch of random pugs. I can say if you're not a wallet warrior things are not so easy.

I think you should read carefully what OP wrote and what gear he has. Your videos, where you got almost all BiS gear, run ahead of tank to aggro everything and press X every 1 min in to check if you're #1 show nothing more than an e-peen syndrome.

I guess Damnation is less gear needed, if you have problems with fury or temptation wich requires you to have awesome gear, change to damnation, use the rotarion of safety aka, immolation spirits, Warlock bargain + Hadar grasp(on a diferent target or a big guy)+ dread theft, wich that combo + your puppet you should kill almost everything, slot on features dust to dust and that one that heals, if you are soulbinder wich i advice you to be, at full sparks dust to dust give you 80% ap after battle so don't be afraid to use immolation spirits, but use it on the first stryke

After this post, I headed into Sharandar with my HB fury SW to see what it was like.

She's around 2k ilvl, blue artifact MH and OH and still has old jewelry, shirts, and pants from Mod 5 -- but she does have the Eternal set from WoD and over 60k HPs. I'm using the Dedicated Squire from the OP pack as a healer, he has no runestones and just some random green jewelry from drops. Her typical encounter loadout is Warlock's Bargain, Blades and Dreadtheft.

I didn't have any problems, although fights took noticeably longer to finish, and I kept getting my AP drained by powries because I wasn't killing them fast enough. I was kind of taken aback when a quickling hit me for 12k. :P

So, I think your problem may be low hitpoints? Look in the AH for lvl 70 blue gear with hit points (choose from the stats drop-down list). You can probably find ones for 5-8k AD each.

For healing sws and dcs I use tank companions with some combination of added threat and/or self heals. The threat can be boosted by stacking recovery so they use it more often. There are also companions which when slotted boost the threat of the active pet. We don't have crazy ls to keep them alive anymore but we do have regen to magnify the heals they receive from us. With the nerf to ls old school things like threat suddenly matter again which is probably good.
