I finally got back into the game, unfortunetly missing the Wonders of Gond for the second time....
But now everything is moving really choppily and slowly, making the game wholly unplayable. I don't think is a hardware issue, as I've played the game seemlessly on this laptop before they dropped the new mod.
Can anyone help with this? I'd really like to play again and I'm getting frustrated that I can't...
There is more lag than before, but it does seem to vary widely across players. I personally have a 5-year old system that was about middle-of-the-line back then and have some lag, but not unplayable. Others have reported massive lag, especially in the Spinward area (the only zone I have not yet played).
We all hope that the update tomorrow addresses at least some lag issues.

if its choppy its probably settings did u change them ?
i found that shadows and light causes some issues on a machine that though dated, can still run stuff like fallout 3, NV /skyrim and many other games on max
It's not your computer, it's the servers. Only specific instances are lagging, under specific conditions sometimes. The most prominent examples are spinward rise and valindra's tower. Sometimes some instances are just FUBAR in drowned shores or reclamation rock too, you may want to change and see if it's better.
I have a gaming computer and an excellent ISP line, I usually never have lag on neverwinter, but module 6 is definitely horribly laggy.
