when I opened arc I was told I am using a new pc to access so had to input a code.i input that 1 they sent and 2 others, evidently I hit the send button 5+times and am now locked out.it has been over 5 hours and no reply. I have been using this pc to play for around a year now and is the only 1 I use,so I don't understand why I got that message in the 1st place.can I expect this to be resolved or am I stuck waiting 24 hours. can I access or prove myself any other way?I am currently logged into arc but have no library of played games. I also have just sent for new code(6 hours later) and the code was accepted but still locked out. I don't see my library of the games I played either.also ble to post in forums and everything but get ingame..this bites , would uninstalling/reinstalling do me any good or a diff pc ?

Have you tried logging in from steam? That is how I log in when I am having issues with Arc.
got on with gateway ,not to fun this way =/ looking into the program file way as steam is taking a long time just to input my info for setting an acct up
Pretty sure you don't wanna mess with the steam version unless you fancy two separate copies of the game installed on your system that may or may not play nice together.
makes sense,,not sure where to find the way you had mentioned in the previous post
If you have a C:\Program Files (x86) on your system you have a 64 bit os if you have just C:\Program Files you have 32 bit. Drill down from there in File Explorer following the path I gave. Hopefully you will find it. You could also copy and paste the path I gave (without quotes and without the /neverwinter.exe to just see if that folder exists. If it does you should see the exe file there. Rt click, select send to > Desktop (create shortcut). Use this from now on to get in the game. If all else fails simply use windows search to find Neverwinter.exe and do the create shortcut from what it finds.
ok i appreciate your help...so i c/p C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\Neverwinter_en\Neverwinter.exe into my search window and when clicked it gave me an error..i then c/p it into my browser window and got the log in screen and now iam in game but not sure how to keep that so i don't have to use arc or steam...so far i have to c/p your full link into the browser search window(internet explorer is what i use) and log in pops up but iam not able to save that to my desk top it seems

Not CP to search box or Internet Explorer, C&P C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\Neverwinter_en\ to Windows Explorer (Hold down Winkey+E or click the folder icon on the bar at the bottom of your screen to open it). This will open the directory the file is in. Then use my method above to create your shortcut to use later.
hope you have the patience of an angel ihave searched for windows explorer and it leads me to internet explorer ..the only icons i have on the bottom bar is an apps icon,,internet explorer(e w/ a yellow line around it) and my teamspeak..otherwise i guess iam lost since iam not sure what the winkey thing is
ok I did that and a window pops up "this pc" i went to downloads and only see 2 arc installs and a neverwinter arc setup , so still at a loss...ok i searched in the search box of "this pc" and it found the full link you gave me C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\Neverwinter_en\Neverwinter.exe(except it says bing after it ..but when i click on it Iam taken to bing search engine and iam not ablt to put on my desktop tho does give the option to add to favorites
I don't remember saying go to downloads while in File Explorer (Windows Explorer). That just shows you the installer and other things you have downloaded. There is a box at the top of Explorer, that is where you copy and paste the C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\Neverwinter_en\ over where it says "this pc". If this is still giving you trouble then use Winkey+S to open the search box and enter neverwinter.exe to find the file. Use the method I posted above to create the shortcut on your desktop from this.
Oh BTW if you use the search box method and are using Windows 8 then make sure you hit the little dropdown arrow and select Files from it before you do the search.
i don't see any other options from the drop down window from the arrow to chnge "this pc" , yes iam using windows 8 the search box doesn't have an arrow for drop down only the search glass
if i right click on the "N" that appears on the bottom(taskbar) as game is in play it says i can pin to my taskbar..does that do the same thing?
OK I think we have verified that the exe is in the expected folder so perhaps just creating the shortcut from scratch is your best bet. Right click on a blank spot on your desktop > New > shortcut. In the location box paste in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\Neverwinter_en\Neverwinter.exe path from before and click next. If the file is in that location you should be taken to the next screen where you give the shortcut a name (whatever you wish, mine is called NW Arc Bypass) then click finish. Look on your desktop to find the shortcut you just created and double clicking it should launch the game.
omg i think i got it .. i had to go to my devices and drives and then to program files (86) then perfectworld entertainment led me to neverwinter_en to neverwinter(application) which then was also able to put on desktop ,once clicked on that opened the log in screen and seems to work..I thank you very much

Probably something along the lines of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\Neverwinter_en\Neverwinter.exe"
Good Luck
