dashboard crashing.

Since the game came out I've gotten to play a bit. But 90% of the time the game is crashing to dashboard. Never get any server issues or lag even. It could be soon as launching the game, character selection or just walking around. I've done a factory restore. I've opened all necessary ports. Internet connection is fine for even games like nba2k15 right now. Any input would be helpful. Thanks

    Xbox support recommended I try an external hard drive because my internal might have problems playing the game. That wasn't the case. Downloaded the new xbox update today and still having the same issues.

    Having the same problem. Downloaded the game, tried to start it but it just crashes back to the dashboard every time. Deleted it and tried to reinstall it. Would be nice to get some official problem solving for this

    I am also having the same issues I have deleted like 20 times and re installed. hard reset and so on and nothing works. I was playing the game fine since launch and now going on my 3rd day of not being able to play at all

    Ok so I got it working finally. I had the game on my internal and my external. When I deleted it from my external hard drive, it began installing again on my internal. (Even though it was already there) took only a few minutes. And now my total game install is at 10.4 gb. I thought it was 10.3 before that. I could be mistaken. After the install I did a power cycle and it's worked ever since....my guess is maybe some file is missing and somehow that triggered the download for the rest. Sorry for the run on, using my phone.

    i only have it only on my xbox I don't have a external. I keep deleting it and re installing it but I still have no luck.

    I looked and my old one was 10.4 gig and there was a new one with 10.5 so I'm re dl again lets hope this works lol

    Yea it's very weird. I hope it works for you. Mine is still working. I even get server errors now. Which oddly enough I'm happy about lol because I know it's working and not crashing anymore

    Well still not working. What's odd is t said 10.5 when I deleted it and when it re install it still says 10.4. Idk I'm lost and about to give up

    See if you can borrow an external hard drive from someone. Or buy and return it lol. Copy the game to the external. Do a power cycle. Then delete it off external and power cycle. Seems crazy. But after all the factory resets and uninstalls. That's the only thing that has worked.

    yeah its still now working and the contact system here is even worse

    Ok so problem still persists after the console was turned off. So aggravating.
