Enchants vanishing after "removing intact" from previously equipped gear

This has happened to me twice now on the GWF I'm levelling after swapping in a new piece of equipment, I go to inventory to remove the enchant and transfer it to the new piece, but when I choose "remove intact" it charges me for the removal and then the enchant vanishes into thin air!

The first time it happened, with a Rank 6 Draconic enchantment, I thought maybe, just maybe I hit the delete enchantment by mistake... so I've been extra careful. Now it just happened to a Rank 4 Radiant enchant that was in my helmet when I tried to remove it to place into the new helmet I just got.

anyone else have this happen?

I think it a fair warning to be wary and keep track of your enchants when swapping them out. Make sure they're going into your inventory when you remove them! I swapped a number of times in between the two instances with no issues, the only consistency I've noticed is that when it happened, I equipped the new gear first, and then tried to remove the enchant from the item in my inventory. thus far it has also only happened on my GWF.

I've had this happen before on 2 occasions, not sure if this will help but - the first time relogging helped (I saw the extracted enchant in my inventory after relogging), the second time I made sure I had space in the very first bag (the one on the very top), because it kept saying there is no room though there was in other bags...

I have logged the character out/in since it happened, but I didn't do it right away. the enchants never did reappear in my inventory though. I haven't personally had an issue with it saying there was no room either.

For now, I won't be touching any of my higher level characters once they're at the point where I need to change a piece of gear or enchant. I've started levelling a Paladin instead, to pass the time and see if I run into the issue again. I don't really care if I lose some R3 or R4 enchant to this, but I won't take a chance on losing anything between R7 and Perfect.

So far what I've been doing is making sure I remove the enchant BEFORE un-equipping the gear it's in, instead of equipping the new gear first and then going into my inventory to remove the enchant.

My Paladin is level 25 so far and has had a few pieces of slotted gear throughout the last 7-9 levels where I've removed the enchant first this way, and I haven't had any of them vanish (yet). Although it didn't happen to my GWF until the high 30's or 40's, so we'll see.
