What is with this Launcher Patch?

I have spent the last 5 hours failing to connect to the patch server for a launcher update..Is anyone else having this issue? I was able to log in no problem at 6AM EST this morning.

What I have done to attempt to correct the issue:

Restarted Computer
Power cycled modem/router
Arc repair
Re-downloaded the launcher from site and installed over my current one
Flushed DNS, released and renewed IPCONFIG
Allowed ports 80, 7000-7500 through Windows Firewall (Incoming and Outgoing)
Pinged the patch server with 0 packet loss (My computer can talk to the patch server)
Opened Technical Support Ticket (Still waiting for reply)

    It has been giving me all sorts or problems, but mostly I will stay on the "Loading Please Wait." part with a black screen and that is about as far as I can get.

    ^same here now.
    I logged in yesterday fine
    logged in today for about 2 minutes was kicked off
    now I get black screen "loading please wait"

    My launcher just patched, and now my client crashes every time I hit the "Play" button. *sigh*

    If you have the patience, I uninstalled and re-installed ARC and now it works.
