Button layout on controller?

Would it be possible to be able to edit the button layout on the controller?

Some things I've personally experienced:

- A for loot and A for player interaction? Plenty of times where I'm just trying to loot and I've opened a million trades with other people. If A were jump, I'd rather accidentally jump then accidentally open up a bunch of menus on accident.
- I made a Guardian Fighter and Scourge Warlock, which both require you to press left thumbstick once for activation and again to deactivate. There also seems to be something going on with the activation queuing, because even when you have no stamina and click it, it'll still use the skill. I also find it a bit annoying when you just need to use it in extreme twitch situation and end up having it on longer than expected.
- I would have preferred LB+A to auto-run, and right thumbstick be jump.

Just curious if this was something that could be on the drawing board for a future update. :)

I agree. Trying to guard as a guardian fighter does not feel natural. I do not enjoy it being left click toggle. I understand why it is toggle on the stick. Makes it easier to guard while moving. I think it would feel a lot better if it were click and hold RB or RT. I find my self getting stuck in guard even when I think I've toggled it off. Sometimes it feels less aggravating to just not guard. Would also like to see full button layout customization.

    I have to agree.
If I should die on some far, far away battlefield
    Know I answered the call
For a grand principle of freedom to yield.
My fervent prayer is that death
May not have been in vain
Fighting for peace and right for the world to attain

I think one of the best ways to fix the opening the interact menu of other players is to fix the looting so you don't need to be right on top of it or to add an aoe loot or auto loot option with customizable settings where we set what we want auto looted when we walk over it. Too many things crammed together on so few buttons.

I think character interactions should be initiated with the back button instead of A. Since it is contextual you could make it the back button and run into far less instances where it conflicts. A is used to loot, to interact with doors and object. A should not be used to also interact with characters.

My first post here. And below is the main reason im on the forums right now.

What I would like to see is be able to put my shield block to Left Trigger instead of LS Click. On top of me being able to set it to Left Trigger I would also like for it to not toggle on and off. I would like this " Need to shield block? Pull left trigger. Done shield blocking? Release Left Trigger ". It would just be soooo fluid. Do we not get custom controls because of balance purposes? If there is any type of game the REQUIRES custom control layouts its an MMORPG on a console. This is simply a must. What prevents this? I still assume balance does.

Like Gamernone said. Just change the interaction button with characters to something different. I like A as loot/interact button.
