Dread Ring, WoD, etc. Go "farm" in the highest level zones.

Not really worth it since you can only farm for about 2 minutes before hitting the skill node "rubbish" cooldown limiter.

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!

Any level 60 zone: Sharandar, Dread Ring, IWD, Well of Dragons. Neverdeath is a low level zone. I prefer to run my routes in Sharandar and Dread Ring.

It takes 12-15 minutes to hit it if that is all you're doing. I run professions half-hour a heck of a lot and have never gotten the "rubbish cooldown timer" within 2 minutes of looting nodes, and when I did get junk in a short time, it's because it was a node someone didn't take all the stuff out of. Always loot one or two more to make sure.

The best farming activity probably is to mix a little killing with node farming. The drops you get from your dragon hoard enchants tend to be much more valuable than node content, so attempting to keep the dragon hoards ICD up is worth it.

    ^ this

Also, Dread Ring has some nice imp spawns, and Sharandar has lots of redcaps, all of them go down with a proper AoE almost from any class with a decent gear. Unless you are looking for black ice too, i'd avoid IwD entirely (lots of tough mobs, annoying mobs, slowing-down mobs etc.), same for WoD (even more tough/annoying/cc mobs).

Except that OP is looking for skill node farming.

Ebon Downs has some nice "crates" that seem to be equivalent to about 3-4 skill nodes at once.

Crates are weird, sometimes you get green gear and "treasure" and then yesterday I got a peridot AND three enchantments AND some potions (from phantasmal fortress crate).
