Looking for input from experience Neverwinter players that played on PC.
1) First what module did it appear the xbox is starting at?
2) What classes appeared strong in the viewed release module of xbox (answer to my first question) and what are the projected changes in the modules to come?
3) I've planned on going cleric for my main, is healing a big role as it was in for example World of Warcraft and what races would be strong to min / max a character with?
I know "just play what you like". I'm not looking for that input, I'll make my choice based off feedback and my preference. I played a lot of World of a Warcraft and am trying to prepare a character to be my main. I may roll 2 character as 1 a pvper and another a pver.
Are clerics strong in pvp healing?
I've tried reading the guides and watching youtub videos on the above questions, but I'm really curious as to how this will convert to the xbox. So looking for any input from people that played a lot on the PC and know how it's transitioning in the xbox start.
Thanks!
Edit; I seem to be reading trickster rogues and hunter rangers have been strong in pvp. I usually play mages or healers.
XB1 version launches with Module 4, Tyranny of the Dragons. Anything true about class balance, healing, clerics, every-single-thing in that module will be true on XB1 when it releases.
Thanks for the info, I was curious if the class balance of the current PC module 5 was going to play through the xbox module 4 and 5 with just the content updating with each module. I dunno if that'll make sense to y'all.
So I see module 6 is coming somewhat soon for PC. Anyone with a rundown of how classes fared in module 4 and then 5? Particularly what's viewed as the best min / max race healing class and what pvp classes were strong in module 4, and what pvp classes were strong in module 5?

I joined too late to know about Module 4, but I can tell you Module 5 had the Trickster Rogue class massively overpowered in PvP.
I too must admit I'm curious how class balance and such was in Module 4 though.
If its up to date with PC class balances then Control Wizard is best AoE DPS and Trickster Rogue is best Single Target DPS/PvP class. Devoted Cleric and Guardian Fighter are in their own category because its necessary in most situations to have one or both in your party for harder dungeons. If its RIGHT at the launch of Tyranny of the Dragons then Scourge Warlock is pretty strong.

That is Module 5 information, it should not be true when XB1 version launches.
Thanks for the input, I can't be the only newcomer looking for this type of info. If anyone knows basic min maxing race class combos that'd be a help to start for some of us.
Such as dragon born clerics are generally the strongest (just an example, I have NO idea) or such race rogues are the strongest due to their max agility stat or something. Any info like that'd be cool. Not saying that's what ima make, but if it's in the realms of what I like I'd probably roll it. Nothing worse than like in Warcraft leveling a priest and getting to molten core to realize you should have rolled dwarf for fear ward. That type of info. Also, I know it's subject to change in the future, thanks again for any input / info guys!
well from the research i have done i found out this (only researched for TR ,CW and HR though)...
TR is best dps in pve and single target pvp, half orc is best dps for TR with tiefling in a close 2nd as the half orcs racial is a constant comapared to the tiefling racial only kicking in at 50% hp
CW is arguably the best for pvp (not sure what mod, i think 4+) thanks to its amount of CC and nukes, tiefling or human seem to be the prefered choice for this class to but many seem to say tiefling is the best because of its starting stats.
HR are/was apparently a top dps class to but apparently get no love after lvl60 because the majority of players will take a CW instead of HR because HR draws to much aggro and has little CC to control it. i also read mixing up your build as hybrid for bow and blades makes it a great pvp class.
not sure if this help at all, but i been doing a lot of reading to whilst im waiting for release and this seems to be pretty much the majority of the players opinion (not everyones)
(also a lot of talk about GF being a decent pvp choice to but i didnt look into it much)
im just gonna roll a TR, CW and HR at release, lvl them all and decide which will be my main later on. will probally role a cleric to at some point
Devoted cleric rule number one = We cant cure stupidity so no heals for fools ^.^
On XB1, it looked like the game was launching on Module 4.
For PVP, the best class was HR. Just thinking about it makes me wince.
For PVE, CW was the best, and still remains the best by far.
I prefer Human as my race of choice, as it gives you three extra feat points.
Healing is not really necessary in dungeons for mod 4 or mod 5, although that looks like it will be changing for mod 6. The only use DCs served in mod 4 was to debuff enemies and buff parties.
CW is also a decent choice in PVP for both mod 4 and mod 5, but it is not "the best class" - It's probably the second or third strongest PVP class for mod 4.
