Fox`s cunning and Marauder escape are 100% must for pvp archer. HR Archer lacks mobility and survivability, those 2 skills help to deal with this. For 3rd skill personally i like Hindering shot, it has 3 charges, fast cd and mini root. The other reason i use it with combination with Fox + Marauder is because you need some skill to apply Prey on different target and the 3 charges allows you to switch Prey targets.

Dailies: Forest Ghost (Opener/Escape), Disruptive shot(Opener/cc), Slashers mark(Opener/Gap closer).

    Encounters:
-Fox cunning/shift: 1 dmg dodge with range, melee has ok dmg + gives a short immunity duration to everything.
-Boar hide/charge: 10% dmg resistance buff and a prone. Nothing wrong with this power.
-Constrict arrow/steel breeze: this got overnerfed by the crying from CW and TR. Unless you are a trapper with thorned root, this power is not much useful.
-Binding arrow/Oak skin: Again, best for trappers since it causes strong root. Also, with the nerf of lifesteal and regen in mod 6, Oak skin might become a good tool to keep you alive during combat since regen will increase incoming healing while in combat.
-Hindering arrow/strike: Again, best for trappers since it causes weak/strong roots.
-Marauder Escape/Rush: Escape tool and gap closer. And it actually hits quite hard also.

    At-will:
-Split shot/strike: no brainer. Best at-will of HR.
-Rapid shot/strike: It is just ok.
-Electric shot/Clear the ground: The damage is laughable. The only good thing about it is it spreads status quickly and Clear the ground hits 360 degree.
-Teamwork/careful attack: The range version is pretty meh, but the melee is awesome since it is a tag-and-forget power, causing dmg every 1.5 second as long as the target gets hit by something.
You say 4v5 is impossible? Cool story bro.

What about aimed shot? I find that this one hits really hard.

The problem with aimed shot is it requires such a long casting time, setting up and yet being interrupted too easily.

In pvp, you can use it if you are hanging in the back line or from stealth (Ghost/Ambush). But then since it is a single shot kill, there is a high chance for it to get deflected/blocked/dodged/immune/wasted due to target went to stealth or walked out of its range or line of sight.

Furthermore, its damage is only a bit higher than a full charged split shot, which does not have any of those drawbacks.

Aimed shot melee version is a weaker version of TR's Gloaming cut. The DoT does not stack, the animation is slow and the damage is not too impressive.

Before the nerf, it was probably one of the best powers that HR had, along with fox shift and constrict arrow, thank to its ridiculous damage.

aimed shot is not good at high levels. there is everything so quick a you kill nobody with it. you must keep moving, once you start loading aimed, you can be easily killed in the process

I'm a trapper, so the only time I use aimed shot is to get in one big hit before hitting them with encounters. I'm hoping that with the new mod that it is less easily interrupted, but even at that, I'm not even sure that I'd slot it. During the windup, it is impossible to get off any encounters. Damage is not even that great considering the time it takes.
