Why almost all items are linked to each update you modify the characters? I invested real money in a character for you let it otherwise weaker and now how is what I spent? Would not you remove the bond only once after each modification? Or this is intentional so that hava more spending on the part of the players?
The problem is not to invest but in being able to do what I want with the items on which I paid for them. Since the classes change, the bond should remove at least once.
You are paying for the advantage the item gives you at the time you purchase it. There is no guarantee that the item will maintain the same level of usefulness for the rest of the games existence.
All businesses work based on repeat business. This game company is no different, though I think they take it to an extreme. You will rarely find a game that is successful, in which you can buy items that give you a permanent power boost.

Your pain is duly felt..but after processing it you'll arrive at the cognition that its best to treat any game like spending money at a casino...if you cant afford to lose it...keep it, and most definatly do not treat anything in the game as any form of investment.
You seem to be a bit confused about how things work in a cash shop model mmo. Thinking that getting that best item once, you will be good for the rest of the games lifespan. The reality is: game changes, and you need to constantly put in effort to stay on top. F2P players will have to farm like madman time and time again. Wallet warriors (that means you) will have to pay time and time again to keep up. That's how the system works. Either you spend a lot of time and effort keeping your stuff updated, or you spend your time and energy on something else and pay for the privilege of keeping up with those that play the game more and/or better then you.
We have already stated that your current artifact equipment will be getting a buff. I have done the main-hands and off-hands and you will see them next patch.
When cryptic makes really unpopular moves behind the scenes they very rarely come out to explain themselves as I don't think they have flame proof underwear.
Do you have any kind of problem? I just want to remove the bond of items in updates, as they are working on my character and I want to have the right to move artifacts and other items.

Many items are "bind on equip (character)" which means once you use it on a character, you cannot use it on another character. Some are "bind on equip (account)" which I like much more because you can use the items across characters on the same account.
You may not like this, but it is not going to change. If no one spent money on the game, it would no longer exist because the people at Cryptic do not work for free. You can still enjoy quite a bit of content without paying anything, so enjoy!

It took already long enough for NWO, you paid your money, you got your advantage, you had it over others for quite a long time. Now time to move on.
Sadly the dev's have caved to people like the op and are going to buff the arti equipment. Sigh......

Your sadness is my glee! Thanks for the wonderful news! Yippie!

Can you post a link to that? Or are you referring to the original plan, of "probably raising the item level around 20 points"?
Here you go.
