so I just got my hands on a fancy coupon so I was able to purchase this
atleast on it's thumbnail cool looking ioun stone, which is really good cuz
of it's three offensive slots, BUT it is the ugliest thing in Neverwinter so far
on rank 30. I usually have it either on it's first state, where it's barely visible,
or on it's second, which doesnt look too bad, but not too fancy neither.
PLEASE REWORK THE LAST 2 RANKS, IF NOT ALL.
Otherwise I want to praise the excellent work on the whole game's graphics.
Simply beautiful. (This stone doesnt fit in here)

Yeah, I also like it. As amsel points out, it purveys something that befits its name. I do believe it is supposed to look like it is all acidic and decaying, again, befitting of an acidic and decay loving black dragon.
This black dragon-imbued stone emanates an aura of acidic revenge and provokes the inner aggression of its user, resembling the legendary ioun stones.

Looks like a ball of putrid, floating vomit to me XD

TBH, it does to me too. And yes I can also agree on it fitting into the concept of the game, but
the graphics dont fit into all the other beautiful graphics. (Still just my opinion, it could like all
the other ioun stone have more "glow" and maybe even bright sparks or something, but not this
floating "vomit")
EDIT: Just took a screenshot. Looks like horses can fly now. Higher than my tensers floating disk.
GG -.- (**** I just noticed she said she was just jumping. )

I'm an art designer, but I would never design something like that lol...
Here is what I'm going to do:
1) Change the color (dark, or darkish red).
2) Reduce its glow, make it similar to the normal Ioun stones (but instead, give it a flame effect, slightly.. ).
I think the idea behind of the current dragon Ioun stone was to make it look like an evil. Powerful dragon wrath?... But they totally messed up with it.. so sad. I wonder if they change it later... But probably not. Since it's here on live, that means it passed the background check.

That's kinda what I meant with "glow", make it have a brighter effect like flames, but instead sparks cuz of it's current look.
Hmm changing the color, yeah a more redish look wouldn't hurt, but I'm cool with the current orange one.
Ingame it looks a little bit brighter to me as of today, dunno why :OO
EDIT: It would be cool if the core of the stone had more glow, right now it's just dark brown/almost black without any effect. Then I would love it. I could imagine that the stone will receive this look on it's legendary rank with module 6.

Totally agree with the OP. The last 2 skins are ridiculously ugly. 2nd is not nice as well but since the 1st one is almost not visible at all, 2nd is the most logical choice (at least it doesn't obscure your vision too much).

I really like it Looks at least, more "interesting" than the stone of allure. (plus the more offensive stats I was looking for)
I just wish my stone of allure was account bound though, now its completely wasted

I hear on preview shard that the Ioun Stone of Radiance now has upgradable skins that actually look it.
The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Always be Batman.
I guess you played little too much for today mate xD (jk).
But yeah.. It has 3 offensive slots and 3 ring slots. Very awesome, but ugh... way too ugly.
I always think more... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02hh3zp
