What happened to skill nodes?

I swear a few months ago I would get primarily R4 enchants from skill nodes with occasional R3 but it seems like I recall getting a lot more R4 from the sharandar and dread ring areas even dungeons. Now when I use a node I get R3 seemingly 95% of the time and rarely getting a R4.

Even worse I have been opening nodes and dont' even get profession resources out of them I have actually gotten just say a 6CP item a single item that is worth 6 cp. Really???

I get that bots are probably farming nodes but come on really? Does the player base need to be punished for botting? Its not our fault you chose to make a game that causes such a time suck that its better for players to bot than to play.

I hope the new refining system is more friendly and not worse ... right now the lack of getting R4 to even feed my artifacts (i still don't havea legendary anything on any of my 6 toons although I have a few at about 80) is making it rather difficult even with fay blessings to get enough RP to even level artifacts.

    Yes, nodes are <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> now. Personally, I don't bother to open them since ugh... long. At this point I think that if they are not going to improve them, they could remove them altogether: that way I wouldn't have to deal with skill kits gathering in my inventory.

    It was dev's superbrilliant idea how to fight bots influence :( All choices associated with it are aimed into normal players more than bots..

    I've recently found blue mark of potency and green marks, but those blue ones are ultra rare. Sometimes I only find 1 item in a instanced lair node!? I still do nodes, you never know what you might find.

    I used to try to get them during the profession time, which frankly needs to be extended to an hour long instead of 30 minutes because frankly its hard to find nodes outside of running something like mini dungeons in sharandar that have like 1 node for each class/skill. And in my year or so of playing I have NEVER found a single dragon egg in a profession node even during profesison time.

    Surely there is a way to make nodes totally random on a map, even more so than now so that bots would have to literally stand at a location for hours before the node appears in front of them. But then again sharandar appears to be bot central at the arcane reservoir and nothing is being done about that.
