Can not complete Remnants of the Past

For some reason I can not complete Remnants of the Past. Could it be I advanced too far (processed campaign tasks) while in the middle of doing the Common Cause trio? Anyone else see this?

    You say you cannot complete it, does that mean you have some scroll fragments but cannot get all ten or that you cannot get any? The mobs in the area drop scroll fragments if you have the quest, so kill some mobs until you get all ten.

    If you cannot get any fragments, then perhaps the quest is not active that day. I have picked up quests one day and not completed them. The next day, I cannot complete the quest because it is not the daily quest. Your only solution is to return on a day when the quest is the daily, or drop the quest and do the current daily.

    Can't get any Fragments. So must be the day thing. Is there a scheduled posted somewhere? Or is always specific days (and I don't know them)?

    Thanks for the info. I'll keep the quest around to see if I can finish it off later.

    The daily non-dragon quest is random, so it could be days before it comes around again (although there are only two in each zone, so it won't be too long).

    If this is holding you back from completing the Common Cause daily, just drop Common Cause and pick up today's version from Harper Broward - which may be in a different zone.

    I've never had a problem completing a quest that is still active in my quest journal on "another day." Maybe that is just me. . .

    There is definitely something odd about that Common Cause set of quests. I too have ended up with one of the three tasks stuck because I couldn't collect the stuff or get into the mini-lair thing. I even had one where I couldn't do one day's quests even after dropping Common Cause from the previous day. It was all fine the day after. I've never quite pinned it down but I always make sure to complete all the common cause things in the same day I get them.
