Could we make a sticky for suggestions and improvement for Neverwinter.

Just an simple list with a short summary of suggestion or improvement that is been talked in the general discussion. So that the devs could easier see what could be improved.

maybe a moderator could takes this over and copy and paste the suggestions and improvements from other discussions.
Keep it spam-free.

examples of suggestions and improvements; (could been talked about)

Suggestions:
1)Against gold spammers; Is it possible to code neverwinter so that when for example 10 people report them for spam, it blocks for everyone in Neverwinter. By a mistake that person could send then a ticket to un-spam him/herself.

Improvements:
1) PvP; It's reported many times. Make brackets so that everyone with a certain GS fight each other and not a 7k vs 25k gs. (there's no fun in that) Maybe code it so that by accepting a text telling there's no pvp fight in his/her bracket to go to a higher bracket. Then the person has to accept to play or quit and try another time.

2) Tiamat; By afk-ers at fire punish them for not playing for a day in tiamat/well of dragons. It stops also for possible bots.

Gold spammers -- it already does something similar, guess what the bots just auto-make a new account.

PvP -- Been suggested many times. The dev's flat out said no.

Tiamat -- Yeah that'll be fun, the run bugs out so that it never advances past the cleric phase and so you get booted from Tiamat for 24 hours. AFK penalty without fixing the countless bugs would be a sign to leave the game for a while.

I just wanted a sticky for the devs and indirectly us, so that it is a bit easier for them to see what been talked about and give them ideas to improve the game. To be honest it would take a while to look in every discussion. This way can see what's going and choose those discussion that interest them.

those were examples of suggestions and improvements, never said they were good. ( forgot to put it in) thanks for reminding me

maybe they left the suggestions section off these forums for a reason.
Champions actually has a suggestions section, which for the most part gets ignored anyway.
STO doesn't seem to have a specific one either

Here are a few ideas I have:

    * Fix the bugs with the chat and auction house interfaces.

    * Guild home/housing, just something really that's customizable to you and/or your guild to be proud of. Guildies could contribute to its upkeep/design/status.

    * Allow zooming in /out on character, I play on a laptop and sometimes I cant see the life of an enemy (if he's huge) unless I look up at his head!

    * Dungeons with dynamic elements that can be change the tactics for a dungeon (maybe enemy is in a slightly different place or has re-enforcements, etc. )

    * More puzzles and riddles, I think I saw one during the quests and I loved it!

    * Have quests show the rewards that you will receive in your journal <
    big one.

    * For the chat menu, how about showing somehow when a tab has a new message (maybe change the color of the tab or make it blink)? Also how about a list to see who's in the room?

    * Less of the sticking companions as main prize in events.

    * How about some kind of siege event, could be another 25 man one? Like a castle? I love the idea of either sieging a castle or defending it from a hoard of orcs, trolls and dragons!

*Obviously the wierd bugs in Tiamat (although I love this dungeon).

    * An aggro UI element! So many times I have no idea if I am aggro'd the only way is to spam my mount button! I wish there was just a little indicator somewhere on the screen to show if I have aggro, that surely cant be that hard right?

*Having guild members names (that hover above their head) be in a different colour? Would be nice to spot my guildies in a big group.

*More large scale dungeons (these are soooo much fun) .

*Bit better explanations of new areas / events. I find that sometimes they are quite short and a bit vague, when the Tiamat event started most of my guild wasn't sure how it worked to get into an instance.

*And as always more areas! More dungeons! More classes! More loots! More Neverwinter! :D

Well these are just a few I seem to have, I started a reddit thread on this a while back and got a lot of good ideas.

I do find sometimes the little things can make a big difference.

+1 for fixing PvP so that there's at least some semblance of fairness in it. Looks like it would be a lot of fun if I could get into a match that wasn't all people with double my Gear Score one-shotting me. This is of course assuming I even got to play at all and didn't get kicked before the game even started because people on my team don't like me having "only" 13k GS.

Well SOMETHING needs to be done to make PvP accessible to new players that haven't already spent a year or more getting the best gear. As it is now, the PvP matchmaking system will throw those new people together with people who have done that and thus have double their gearscore. You can talk about skill > GS all day, but at a certain point it really DOES matter when you have half the stats of the other person you're fighting. That isn't fair no matter how you look at it and no amount of skill is going to make up for such a huge gap in gearscore. I've said it before but a 10k vs a 20k would be like if you were in the 50s bracket when you were actually level 30-something.

So if the devs have flat out said no to brackets, then what other solutions are there?

Letting it die. It's got so many many problems, and has had them for so long, that the population of pvp'ers is mostly gone. I'd say that it can't be fixed anymore regardless.

I guess that works, but it's still sad. I'm a new player who would love to get into PvP and add to that dwindling PvP playerbase, but the inherent imbalance issues make it not fun for me and I think it would be safe to assume that I'm not the only one. You do see people complain about this with a fair amount of frequency after all.
