Does this Campaign get to the point where to continue progressing you have to go to Well of Dragons? I seem to have gotten to a point where I'm not making any progress towards the next Boons, goodies, etc. So how did those who completed it before the Tiamat Module came out do it? Did the Devs modify/expand this campaign to include Well?
Yes, the last two boons are gotten from the Well of Dragons area (at last in part for Linus favors -- the pizza shaped icons -- as well as the queen related book).
Once you complete the Zhentarim tasks, unlock the Portal to Tuern weekly quest, then you can either unlock the Shores of Tuern Skirmish and the Lair of Lostmauth Dungeon or move on to the Well of Dragons if you wanted to follow the "storyline." Don't forget to pick up your Artifact Weapon along the way...

Is it worth unlocking the skirmish if you are a solo player? I haven't been able to run any dungeons or skirmishes since the very first couple, as I'm in a small guild of just a couple personal friends and the queuing system in this game is the worst I've ever experienced. I'm told that no one runs the skirmish anymore, so queuing for it solo would be pointless. I would love to find out what end-game content is still run, so I can have a decent chance of actually getting a dungeon queue to pop.
You might be waiting for one of a few different "books" required to gain the higher boons in ToD campaign. I ended up buying the cheapest book (Harrl's, or something like that) as I had more than enough of the other "currency" required for the boon.
As stated above, you may as well move to the WoD campaign - check to see what "currency" you need for remaining boons first.

I queue for SoT all the time solo still. I normally queue for it on normal during skirmish hour. Gets me a small chance for a book and rad.

I too also queue for SoT solo.
Most of the time I run it during the Skirmish event, seems more people run it at that time for a chance at the book, and ADs. Every so often I will also queue the epic version. Just for a change of pace...
I will also queue for LoL normal during the dungeon event, but this one seems to be dying out. I've tried the epic version a few times, but the drake at the end is very difficult... not so much him, but the AoE attacks... you definitely need to stay on your toes.
Even though I'm a part of an active guild (yeah, BloodGuard), I often run skirmishes via pugs solo unless the guild is doing a skirmish run/group. Normal SoT on down is extremely easy in a pug for the most part; SoT can be a pain epic or normal at the last boss depending on class and kiting abilities. When you get your stats well enough distributed, pugging Epic SoT is normally very doable.
If you want to group often for such events, consider joining the NW_Legit_Community channel. The community there has close to zero trolls, and everyone (for the most part) works on team work over gearscore elitism (i.e. you don't bring up GS when asking to form a group, join a group, etc).
There rumors floating out there about Temple of Tiamat ending soon. Favor, artifacts and boons gone any truth in this?
Lo and behold, ToT will end and module 5 will be removed from the game at the same time as I am named emperor of Canada. Thus have the prophecies spoken.
I think this should tell you enough about the rumors.
