I've read a number of posts that talk about how MoF synergizes well with Life Steal. I'm considering switching my SS/Thaum CW to MoF/Renegade. Is 1,441 life steal with endless consumption boon too low? Are there any other stat considerations for MoF/Renegade?
Alot of CWs on this forum are saying have LS at 10% and Armor Pen at 24%(you have too much). I was in the same boat as you back in October, thinking about switching from SS to MoF. I read Chemboy's massive mod4 MoF guide from cover to cover and made the switch and I have been enjoying my CW way more ever since. His guide covers stat distribution and boon selection very well so I recommend that you give that a read.
When my augment stone isn't out, my armor pen is at 1,981 (20.1%) (down from 2750 (25.2%)). LS is at 10.3%. I have the cloak of black ice (still green, level 11), and I've been thinking of switching to the Imperial Clock. Yet my concern over switching are the few times I'm in PVP where without the augment stone by armor pen drops significantly.
I tested on preview this morning switching to the Imperial Cloak where my armor pen with the augment stone drops down to 24.1%, but the recovery portion doesn't seem worth it. It shaves 0.3 seconds from steal time with the increased recovery. Is 0.3 seconds worth it from those with far more experience than I?
The HP comes from a combination of things: one boon (700 HP), armor (I'm using 4/4 draconic templar but will probably switch from 4/4 to 2/2 still using templar but possibly 2 black ice peaces or two regular draconic pieces), and 2 radiant rank 7's. I'm personally ok with the HP for the most part.
I'll re-review chemboy's guide; I do like a lot of his work, but wasn't sure there was renegade specific in his work (I will re-read). thank you both again for your time and replies.

I don't think your lifesteal is in to diminishing returns yet. If so, then not very far. I used to have 13-15% and it rocked. 10% is a good point to shoot for, but more is better until you get into DR.
The point of the imperial cloak is that it allow you to get armor penetration on other pieces that come with a better stat budget (aka, personalized rings).
If you were to use a black dragon ioun stone, ideally you'd want 5 of those rings but due to having armor pen, a stat with a very clear ceiling, it's very very hard to not go over the cap.

I say hp because with that amount, you likely use hp pieces. If that hp only comes from radiant enchants though, just ignore this.
