Mimic BoE or BoP?

I see the tooltip for the mimic from the event is BoE, but is it really BoE? Can anyone confirm for me, or has it gone BoP like most other things these days.

    last year i got mine and it was BoE , and i think it still the same :)

    It was BoE last year.

    I suspect all companions maintain their original binding - if it was BoP before it is now, BoE before then it is now. Fawn was also BoE.

    Mounts (Sleigh and Horse) were BoP.

    Yeah I remember it was BoE last year just wondering this year. I have a sinking feeling that tool tip may not be updated. But thanks for the feedback all!
