Unexpected new patch

Anyone else get a new 2,506 MB patch when you log in to NWO? I see no patch notes on the forums. . .

    They're just gettin ready for the big Winter Fest patch. It won't be official until Thursday, usually. It'll take millions of microseconds to download. :rolleyes:

    There's some drunk Kabold in the corner of the pub blabberin about those that were here last year may not see such a large patch file. The nonsense they come up with these days!!! ;)

    The patches always show large file sizes.

    However the patch sizes...if you look...are not the download size but rather the size of the files being patched. It would take much longer than it does to download files the sizes of the patch.

    No matter what patches do not apply until there are notes even if they download early.

    Weird thing is, after Tiamat's rise I was having login server problems (still do btw) and did a force verify (as suggested) and instead of going through the verification process, it started downloading a 2.5gb patch o.O I decided to let it run in the hope that it would fix my login issues but it never did. A goodly amount of time wasted there...
