I would like to see a Barbarian made mostly to go down the Berserker route. Though for the benefit of the game I would like to see Druid, and Bard be made. We need more support classes in the game to give it a more balanced feel. I'd like to see the Bards function a bit like Rangers, switching between their instrument and their sword. As for Druid, I'd love to see them do CC and healing as their main function.

We already have one, although it's broken as hell: the GWF.

GWF and a Barbarian do differ greatly in the books. I would like to see the GWF get the love they need, but I'd like to see a Barbarian focus mainly on AOE DPS and debuffing the enemy (Causing fear in them so they do less damage and take more damage)

that is kind of what gwf does, at least before some ____ decided its a good idea to remove all utility from gwf
I'd like to see something that is clearly different from what we have now. Paladin has been mentioned a lot but to me it's too close to GF.
Druid or shaman would be more original. Monk too, and bard could be a great idea, I have no idea if people are interested in it though. I know I probably wouldn't play one.
I'd play any class that involves magic, like Bard, Sorcerer and Psion, but there are 4 ranged classes already... I really want to see Monks coming now.
And I'm really curious about how Dragonborn Monks would look like
Bard, Druid, Paladin and Monk. After that, everything is gravy. I believe each of those 4 classes would bring something new to the table and offer new/interesting dynamics.
I would view Bard, Druid, and Monk as some of the most unique additions to the game. I've seen many people shoot down Paladin and Barbarian using the logic "We have GWF and GF, those are basically the same thing"

What makes priest any different from cleric? Personally I'd like to see something a bit more unique, like swordmage or warlord. And no to monks, play swordsman if you want you Kung-fu wusha fix.

A monk is one of the most well known classes in D&D they don't entirely have to use their fists, they can use some exotic weapons, which I would perceive them doing.

oh c'mon. then we'd have HR's running around named Drizzt, as well as Monks running around named Neo!
Always a fun discussion, but it is starting to wear a bit thin. Instead of continually adding new classes, it would be nice to give a little more love to the classes we already have available.
By this, I mean an integration of the DnD versions for multiclassing. I would love to treat my GWF like my DnD character & have both a greatsword & a longbow at my disposal. Especially for stuff like Tiamat. Or how about a GF that can sling the shield over their shoulder & 2-hand their sword? Maybe even a TR that can drop Icy Knife from stealth? New classes are always fun, however I'd like to see a little dabbling in the actual DnD mechanics a little more.

isnt SE basicly a Ice Knife from stealth? xD
BTW i always thought they just splited paladin into 2 and made gwf and gf, i dont want see next sword weaving class in game, we dont need it... just make paladin paragon for all 3 classes (gwf, gf and dc)
Bard (we need only buff specialized class imo) should be next, or, eventualy, shapeshifting druid.

New class? A "Refiner", a class that is able to create RP after casting spells, a Blood Ruby when you cast a daily power, Aquamarine after using encounters and finally White Pearls every At-Will, class feature grant you a black opal when an enemy is killed in a range of 30'.

I think it is time for a Druid, followed by Paladin. I also like the idea of an Illusionist.
So those are my three favorites, but I think Druid should come next.

here you go
That thread is outdated and has Monk as a minor option :S
That's a cool idea, whenever the Bard is added to the game.

Because I'd like to not get my thread locked.
