That trickster rogue chart though.

I generally agree with all the charts.

Pretty accurate. It's a shame we have to rely on attacks that don't even hit our enemies physically to be competent at PVP... Swinging my Sword over my head and Shouting hits harder than a strike that can cut a person in two? okay...

I played a little pug PvP on my CW, so remember my experince is pretty neutral in 1v1 matchup

CW v TR ---> "omg, i'm dead already" (suicide mission)
CW v GF ----> an easy win if i don't prone. Very easy in 2v2
CW v. GWF ----> These give me most trouble, depending on how tanky they are
CW v. DC ----> usually win, not so bad
CW v. SW ----> lol, SW play pvp? (joke)
CW v. HR
> oh i see a hr *casts one spell* oh **** fox... *dead*

Found only plan for TR/HR, unless they are incompetent, is DO NOT ENGAGE.

I think GWF is always nice in PvP, so maybe OP is a little biased, but again i mainly PvE so my opinion isn't worth too much.

i agree with all except

HR
> Loses (With high difficulty, to)
> Trickster Rogue
(should be medium difficulty)

Non intimidation GWF
> Loses (With high difficulty, to)
> Control Wizard
(max geared Gwf is a 50-50 chance on a max geared cw) and if they land a takedown or frontline in the first encounter, they win the fight

GF
> Ties (Can go both ways, with)
> Control Wizard
(gf vs cw is more about 70-30 chance in favor of GF, due primarily to the fact that no CCs work on them at all
-also you didnt include DPS gf vs. defensive built GF (with KV)

also on TR you left out healing DC's which is a stalemate,
but otherwise this is 100% accurate

everything is pretty accurate. The dps gwf have not been weak since mod3. they have gotten weak but they are still playable. they are just out shined by intimidation now. hrs and trs are in a league of their own.

Lol, yeah, we do, and actually kill things still. But mainly we turned into a support class in PvP these days. Most success comes from pairing up with another class on a node. Which still isn't a perfect situation and needs fixing.

Best chart I seen so far after playing pvp in NW since beta if you summon up the matches and sum up the balance between classes overall i say it a very good chart.

If you are going to to pick a class to pvp with and want to know what classes you are weak against and strong against I say its close to perfection.

So how you find it worthless I cant really see.....

Nevermind him. That guy is the most bitter kid I've ever seen in NW. Considering his skill in-game I'm really not surprised (Once you meet him in-game you'll see, he's bad even with the current broken TR, lmao)

He totally hates "High-end" players, and when I say hate I mean it, guy has been rambling and bashing higher GS people since the stone age of NW. Perhaps because he can't afford BiS gear. He keeps hating over and over and over again, just ignore him from now on. He contributes nothing, nothing.

In fact, doing pvp with a GF is totally useless. Our skills are HAMSTER and we never deal so much damage compared to a TR that destroys 2/3 of my HP in one blow.

The game presents so unbalanced characters that I don't see any purpose to continue doing pvp. Getting the first boons is a Holy Grail for us. And a lot of lost time, on the same occasion.

It's getting me weary. One month and a half in the game, and I already consider leaving it.
Really loved the D&D thing, but NW has killed all I believed in this gaming suite.

Game developpers, please do something for the tanks! Whether they don't deal much damage, but you could have given them a far stronger resistance, coz they have already nothing, and besides they can't tank or face anyone in PvP.
The GF class is a miss. Not worth much playing it....

Are you marking? Have enough Resistance ignored? My GF gets top kills 90% of the games I play with him. I crit a TR 2 days ago for 20k with a lunging strike, actually made me laugh out loud. No they don't do a 40k lashing blade, but lashing is a much longer CD and easy to avoid. GF do maybe a slight bit less damage than they did in Beta but they also take 10x the abuse.

If you're trying to tank in PvP without a proper group to support you you're just going to get overrun and frustrated. I'd recommend 2k+ regen with 50k+ hp before even trying to bunker in PvP.

Relative close representation of how undergeared and inexperienced people turn up, you mean. Or, conversely, representative of a handful few TR players at the summit of the PvP end-game who'd probably be able to do the same with any other class.
Stop making excuses. Be a man.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

Really? I've never seen a CW survive long enough and actually kill 2 of Chocolate Shoppe's A-team on a node.

I've seen a TR do it on stream though.

It really depends if CWs and HRs are red glyphed. In an ideal world where CWs and HRs do not have absurd advantage from red glyphs, with my instigator FLS/IBS/RS (solo pug only, currently at 620+ kills, 280 deaths, 1000 assists):

I can usually do well but you need to outplay the opponent with sprint and timing.
CW only slightly upper hand.
SW might be balanced or weaker than you. Quite squishy and if you dodge their prone, they are in trouble.
GF can be taken down. Must switch to takedown/ IBS/RS (takedown better to sprint behind--->stun). Must avoid being caught by their CC combo or they deal more damage to you then they deal to them. But you can fight. Long fight BTW, usually.
DPS DC, TR, HR: way above you. Must outplay and even so, they have easy access to victory.

DPS DC too much DPS/ DoTs
TR too much mobility+ stealth+ FLS nullified by deflect most of the time+ high DPS. It's easy mode vs GWF.
HR high damage and quite tanky, upper hand but feels more balanced cause if they are not red glyphed and you dodge their boar's prone, you have a chance to win.

Against these classes 1v1 it's no fight. Far from balanced, you must greatly outplay to even have a slight chance. And even outplaying them, they usually can overpower you.

He can reatches these stats ,18-18.5k gs and then struggle against 14k trs ,16k cws, etc....

No we cannot take 10x the damage.Actually our defence nerfed ,80% block from 100%,our heals remained the same since beta,no boost to DR , while each mod the dps of other classes is increased by 30-300% .

Good looking chart.

The only thing I'd comment on is... just watch for a few more TR vs DC 1v1s. DCs are getting hit with 40k+ SE through empowered AS at 80-100% HP. It looks like they broke it again so that it's ignoring all DR/tenacity(?), and it won't proc the Faithful capstone. One unfortunately timed dodge vs TR using smoke bomb, SS, and dazing strike = a dead DC pretty fast.

I'm not a fan of what they've done with GF over time myself. Guard the way it was had more pro capacity to it, blocking the right moves at the right time however now it's much harder to overwhelm a GF, you can lean on block for a long time and let regen mitigate the overflow damage. Basically if you're talking heavy moves like knife, lashing, indom then yea block is less effective but the overall mitigation over time is unquestionable higher. Not to mention you no longer have to deal with random procs blowing up your guard for simply blocking a CC ability.

Fighters recovery is still amazing, I'm not sure what other heal you'd want. I'm actually surprised it never got nerfed. The only problem with it now is a core mechanic problem not class. There's simply no window between dodges anymore which makes classes who can dodge less thoughtful to play.

I think, that this chart is spot on.

The problem that made some ppl think, that GWFs are still OP is high GS intimidation GWF meets low to mid GS PuGs. Come and get it is a AoE, while most high dmg skills are single target. I once killed 4 ppl at the start of a fight on 2 with CAGI, oneshot. I thought, that it was a bug, till I saw, that they had 5-9k GS. To low GS players intimidation GWF might seem more OP, bc other high GS players just kill them one at a time.
Chars: CW, DC, GF, GWF, HR and TR.

they should also separate it by paragons/feat trees for each class

huge difference in how a class can 1 vs 1 others once you take everything into account

haven't been 1-shot on my 16k scoundrel yet by intimidation, but i do my very best to avoid a gwf anyways. on my 11k wizard, however, i have died instantly a few times to it even though i had shield on (not that i have a lot of hp as a wizard).

think 14k procs are about the norm for intimidation but i think i have seen 1 proc in the 20k+ range

lol.

SwordMaster GWF's are literally the worst thing in this game. Worse than Warlocks (Serious). Even Archery Rangers beat them.

Reason ? No gap-closer. Oh Punishing Charge? You're wasting a potential "DPS" encounter.
