Linus Favor?

Im looking for a definitive answer on how to acquire the Linu's favors.

I know you can donate 1500 points of treasure to get one. (this is absurdly high but thats another discussion)
You can also get one from defeating Tiamat.
There was talk of a quest that unlocks at some point to acquire them. There is a 5 part quest that requires a favor each time. When this is completed does it unlock some Linus favor quest??

As it stands it will be an awfully long time to acquire 15 favors let alone 60+ if you want all the stuff.

    You just answered your own question. Those are the only two ways to acquire favors in the game.

    Apparently you do not need to unlock all five levels of Prevent Tiamat to get access to the rest of the tree so Linus not nearly as necissary for that given most Linu gear costs 15. I suppose it makes fighting Tiamat easier but as things stand the real factor in that fight is the quality of the PUG you end up in.

    Edit: I suppose you need to take it to three to get the off-hand to drop.

    Whats this donate 1500 treasure, where.. who... how...

    nvm.. found it, must have been changed after last patch.

    The wagon where you delivered the dragon hoard coffers too.

    Yea the vender was not included previously in the game likely an attempt to stretch content.

    The 1500 coffer price will go down or the drop rate will go up eventually, another attempt to stretch content.

    aw I already have given my 200 coffers in the last patch should have save it grrrrrrrrr...

    There was talk of a daily quest, from Linu, that would reward a linu favor.
    It had to be unlocked, simular to the icewind dale tavern quest, I know I read about it in the preview forums where some dev was describing how you would get linus favors.

    If there are only the 2 ways to acquire favors its going to take an ridiculously long time to get 15. I have already put in more time than i care to admit and i have 2.
    At this point 15 is just time prohibitive, there is no way I can spend that much time on this game.

    Beating Tiamat isn't even the hardest part, the hoard reclamation threshold is just wayyyy too high and resets every hour. For the ridiculous amount of coins/coffers/treasures it requires to get to 100% it should be able to build all day long without resetting... Everybody dumped their stashes to get those 1-5 favors right away because they've been restricted. Now everybody who runs Tiamat is guaranteed to NEVER get an offhand drop and NEVER get an artifact drop because the reclamation % will never go over 50% again.
