Classes

1. The Control Wizard - I've played a lot of MMORPG/RPG my entire life but this is the 1st game that i played where mages can go high HP / high defense and still can two to three hits players and on top of that they can easily top dungeons in total damage and total killed(Isn't awesome to be a Mage in this game?:D). The control wizard is the total package CW's can go full def and wont lose that much DPS compare to other classes, they have a super fast AP gain and they can cast spells the fastest among classes, they have a lot of stamina to teleport(making it hard to get em if you're a melee class), They are a range class and they can control, knock down and throw people all over, they can crit 100%for 4secs every 20secs and the CW armor has higher AC than the leather armors of the game. If you gonna think about it this game is a CW's game. On most dungeons you will see at least 2 CW's or even more a melee no matter what class for tanking and a DC for healing sometimes they will scratch the DC and make it 4 CW's and a melee, because they can. CW's can just control all the adds and just melt them like butter in an oven, and if once in a while there is this mobs who they cant control its no problem cause they can just nuke it because they also have high single target damage. One of the big reason why this game is becoming boring and why the economy is crashing is because of how the Control Wizard is now, dungeons that supposedly hard to finish becoming ezpz because of CW's, other classes are neglected because why do we need other classes if we can use 3 CW's who can get the job done quicker and easier (AOE/HighDamage/Control). My suggestion is lessen the damage of CW skills for about 40% (looks harsh but its the right thing), and let them focus on control, or if they want a high nuker build give them a paragon path mainly for single target but will make their AOE and control powers less effective, by doing this economy will go up, supply will go lower demand will go higher, dungeons will be more challenging than now and Control Wizards will be Control Wizards, not a Universal soldier. (PS: They can still go DPS, but that will make their control, also if they wanna go control, their DPS should also suffer.)

2. The Great Weapon Fighter - The 2nd Universal soldier of this game they are almost like the CW on everything (High HP / High Def, High DPS, can outrun anything, UNSTOPPABLE!, High DoT, Decent AOE, can prone and control, crit is good, they can tank(makes the GF unlikable) and they got high armor penetration (built in "ability score"), the CW beats this class in overpowered classes only because CW is a range class and can control much better. This class is the easiest class in my opinion, its a one man team on its own and all you need to do is fill it up with gears and its a hack and slash class. They gave it survivability, they gave it high damage, and they gave it control powers(whats not to like?). They need to fix this class as much as the CW, what i imagine about the GWF is, it supposedly like a Berserker where it can do a lot of DPS but not as tanky as a Guardian Fighter. I imagine them going full offense but their defense should suffer and vice versa. They should make nerf unstoppable, and they should make its power skills do 25% less damage and its DoT should be less. Fixing this class will do a lot in the games economy and the way people will play dungeons.

3. The Hunter Ranger - One of the things that makes this class overpowered is its bugged skills right now which cryptic said its already been fixed in the upcoming module. But even if that bug is fixed i still think its the 3rd overpowered class in Neverwinter, i mean this is the only class who can use power skills six times, they can go in nuke you with two power skills then go out nuke you with two other skills and if its a a hunter build that can cast skills fast then he can do it this to you in another 5-10 secs on top of that this class can prone you. This guy got a lot of mobility (i always tell myself that this class is what the Rogue should be), it has stealth, it can use daily powers two to three times, it can gain AP real quick, it can heal himself:X and it can dodge your power attacks a lot. Now to make this class balance i really think they should put on a cool down on the power skills every time they use switch and the cool down cant be affected by ability score or even recovery. If they don't wanna do that maybe they can lessen its dodge, or even makes its AP gain slow like what they did to TR's, they can even remove its stealth, i mean why the hell they gave this class stealth? and the prone, they can root you from a far and they can prone you close range.

4. The Trickster Rogue(Most overrated class) - Many players always says rogues are OP, they should be nerfed and i agree they should nerf the stealth of this class but not nerf its power skills(which they already did next module). I think this class needs fixing apart from what they did this upcoming module, they should give this class a paragon path for DoT, or even more DoT skills. And i think the AOE resistance that DEX gives this class is not working they should check this cause high or low DEX AOE hits will stay the same damage(tested it). I also think that the armor penetration stats of this class is broken(In PVE some rogues lashing blade hit 20k-25k (no stone) but when they do PVP they will only hit 4k-10k depending on the class they are hitting which is so wrong. Let us say you hit a CW with 32% damage resistance now a rogue with 25% arm pen hit him, with that stats the CW can only block an incoming damage of 7% from the rogue. Now with 20k lashing blade damage in PVE -7% it is 18,600 -tenacity of crit let say 20% the rogue should hit him 14880, but in-game the rogue will probably hit him 5k-8k, it is the same with Duelist's Flurry.), And this class is called the trickster rogue but the mobility of this class is poor compared to the 1st three classes that listed above. And where is the DoT's? They should put up a paragon path for this class for DoT's, I'm thinking wipe the new scoundrel path and change it to DoT's or add DoT's, even on its power skills and feats. (i really think the developer of this game hates DoT's for example the bilethorn weapon enchantment, The tick from this enchantment gives u maximum of 250 damage, i mean 250.. why? I think they should buff TR's power skills/at-wills and don't cap its power skills/at-wills in PVP, you see this class is not overpowered cause any class can kill us quickly hands down (CW's can sometimes one to two hits TR's) it is only annoying because of the perma-stealth build, but now that they removed us give this class a buff on its power skills and give it DoT's(rogue should have DoT's).

5. The Guardian Fighter - I like where the Guardian Fighter class is right now, specially if they nerfed the GWF, this class will be awaken again.

6. The Devoted Cleric - Its perfect right now.

7. The Scourge Warlock - I still have less input on this class but lately I'm seeing that its a bit overpowered.

Suggestion to balance Def/Off of classes. Put a cap on the classes max HP, for example a CW should have a cap of 24k HP and if he get pass 24k for every 500HP he adds he will lose 1% of damage percentage, same goes to other classes. You want too much def, off should suffer. And they should put different caps on defense per class, for this game to be more balance. And the deflection rate, why do it need to have a deflection severity? i mean its already hard to get pass the deflection chance of 45% and for that you only gonna get the reward of 75% less damage? you making the deflection stats HAMSTER by doing this, some classes should reach 50% deflections ez and the severity higher. because its not gonna be OP, when a player goes high deflection, i am 100% certain this guy sacrificed his damage resistance and HP and maybe some off, so he is still gonna be squishy and just relaying on the 50% luck.

I know it is easier to type and think stuffs then to make it happen, but i just love how the game works and i feel like this can help it bloom. (FYI when we started this game it was 7 of us all friends in real life, 5 of them quit because of the classes being so unbalanced, and the "This is a CW's game" is from a friend when i asked him why he quit. Hope you enjoy reading this, and tell me what you think about it. Thank you.

    6. At least we know which class you have never, ever played.
DCs are anything but fine, that is why they are getting 100% rework.

sorry about that, but yes you are right i never had a DC, and what i said is about my experience in dungeons with them and i feel happy of how they can support and debuffs. But maybe you can add up things to work on the DC. Thank you

Why even state this is OP without giving some reason for it? This class has potential but every post you see in the forums, especially those for mode 5, state how weak this class is in PvP. They do good damage in PvE but you don't see posts in LFG looking to add a full party of them for dungeon runs like you do CW. Random unfounded comments like this hurt more then help. I only ask you refrain from posts like this without any reasoning behind your thoughts.

I can't be serious about your advices if you throw all abilities from all paths to one basket and say sth like "lessen the damage of CW skills for about 40%" or for GWFs "they should make its power skills do 25% less damage".
Can you name those abilities or you just give random numbers?

Also talking about DC being perfectly fine and GFs awoken if GWFs get nerfed tell me that you have no clue. I'm not a big fan of CWs or SWs dominating PvE content right now but you give us no numbers, calculations, ability or feat names - nothing to talk about.

Take care and do some research first.
