The icon of Mailbox lights up with no reason

It lights up as if there are unread mails. But there is no unread mails.

This issue happens after Siege of Neverwinter event started.

    This happens every so often it seems going back a few modules. I have noticed one pattern but I don't know if it is a coincidence or not. It seems to happen (at least more often anyways) when I report as spam an email.

    My mail icon also lights up when I access... bank.

    It's been doing this since before closed beta and it's because you deleted a message before it was marked as READ. When you open mail, the message that is selected at the top is shown, but not marked as read. You must click on it to mark it as read. If you delete the message before it is marked read the new mail icon remains glowing until you manually mark a new unread message.

    FIX: create a new mail message to yourself. Go to your inbox and click on the new message to mark it as read. The icon stops glowing. Delete the message.

    When a mail message is automatically selected as a result of deleting a previous mail message, the newly selected message is not marked as read. This is probably what has happened to you. While you did see the message as highlighted, it was most likely not marked as read.

    Not sure if this is true but one guildy mentioned that if ya open the Social page (Hit O), then hit the mail button on the bottom, you might find a message from a gold spammer that didn't make it to the mail box. :eek:

    Have you played STO or CO? There was a time when mail from STO was highlighting as having new mail in NW but as far as I know that was fixed a while back.

    I didn't delete any mail, but the issue still happens.

    I was sending items from one account to another and now when i logged in to that other account my mailbox glows but there are no mails in it that i sent, so now i cant get my items back, can anyone help me??

    Things i tried: logged in and off, checked other acc if its still there(no its not), went directly to mailbox without pressing the icon.
